Hypothetically, you should be able to plug anything into the HDMI port in the headset charge box and it work it work I would do it in the PS five one though, because the Xbox HDMI port has the Dolby Atmos support license and that might cause some interference. I doubt it but just to play it safe.

Well, as of right now, there are no consoles that have true 7.1 around. It is all software digital imaging at the moment and your best bet would be to go PS five not PS4 but still series all the 300 $400 gaming headsets that you get for console all due digital imaging, some kind of process with software inside the headset to emulate 7.1 surround true, 7.1 drivers only Exist on PC at the moment to break your heart

Why don’t you try the settings that I use because I’m telling you if I was to play rainbow six I wouldn’t make any changes. @@handikillcam I’m using what you gave me for rainbow six siege is working very good but there’s a app for this headset. Look them up. You’ll see it is from Logitech.

Second, there is no app for the headset on iPad. If you are using an app on the iPad or on your phone, you’re using the wrong thing because there is no app for the headset. The only thing you can use to adjust the equalizer is the PC.

@hp1799 yes there is an app for Logitech hub however, Logitech hub app on the phone and iPad does not connect to the Astro a 50 x the app is made for to be used by the Pro X wireless to the Astro a 30

Clarify, I am speaking about mobile app the Logitech mobile app the only way to properly to set up the 850s XEQ is to use the PC app and have the base hooked into a PC app will not connect to the base of the headset if it does if you do get it to work, the EQ will not stick. The logitech mobile app was not made for the Astroa 50 X the Logitech G app for mobile was made for the 830s and the Pro X wireless X2 so if you’re trying to use the mobile app for the A50x it will work to use the GH app correctly for the Astro a50x you must have the base of the headset which is the charging dock hooked into a PC. This is the only way.

EQ just modifies the signal by boosting or taking away from the signal and the only way to switch between EQ is to switch between profiles on the app from the PC. This is not normal 50s Astro headset. This is a whole new revamp for the headset and the software as you can tell, the software says g hub not Astro so what you’ve known from the old Astro software is known more

I believe to get it to work. You need to hook it up to a PC and then apply the EQ and then disconnect from the PC and then switch it not certain though because I do not own a PS five

The thing is from what I’ve heard from other people I don’t use the mobile app, but the mobile app seems to be unreliable when it comes to the equalizer I use the PC with the PC and I have no problems adjusting the EQ or using presets either or I can only speak from my experience so when I’m saying to do something, it doesn’t mean necessarily one’s better than the other. It’s just I use what works for me, and for my set up play console I don’t play console. Play rainbow six I play other shooters and other games and I play on PC.

​@emanuelcortez1546 Hey, i can answer your question. Yes you can change the equalizer in the app. So you can make your own custom eq in the app. The only thing you can't do with the app is download new pre-made eq presets. That's only for PC. With the app you have to do your own eq manually.

Bro, go to the Logitech G hub app on your PC. Hit the little world tab type in rainbow six or six there are plenty presets. You can download and test out you both are making it harder than what it actually is.

This will sound cliché at first, but please make sure that you’ve updated your headset then what I want you to do is where you heard the sharpness whatever you were listening to try to continue to listen to that while you open up your EQ settings and mess with The high frequencies and do small cuts meaning go down little by little until it doesn’t feel so sharp. Try that and let me know. Also make sure that you don’t have any post processing going on meaning you don’t have any other equalizers going on before going into the headset meeting, maybe you’re listening to Spotify Spotify has its own EQ maybe you’re listening to your PC it also has an EQ so these things you want to be aware of if you don’t have those off or correctly it can make things weird

Hey just downloaded some Warzone Eq settings on my pc for my a50x but when I switch over to ps5 and I go on my phone to look for my downloaded eq’s, they don’t seem to appear anywhere. It only shows default, gaming, and media… do you know why?

@Dro-Ordanzo unfortunately I don’t have a PS five to test this out. What does it do when you hook it up to the PC when you have it on PS five can you still look at it or no? I don’t know how accurate the version is and the base plugs into the PC so it’s a direct connection. I guess the question I would ask you do you know a difference and sound when you switch if not, it might just be a glitch in the mobile version. I’m sorry I can’t help you much further I don’t have a PlayStation five.

From my understanding, the Dolby Atmos automatically works you may have to turn it on from your consul, but I wouldn’t be able to show a video because I don’t use an Xbox or a PlayStation with this headset. I use it on PC but I’m sure Astro has a how to video.
