my first welsh cost me $345. He was from the Limberlost Kennel in Springfield IL. Mason was more then I had hoped for. He won his puppy class at Nationals, 2 , 3 pt majors built for another dog, first pt over a special, won a 5 pt major at a regional, and finished at Western Reserve KC. He won the Canadian National plus finished from the groups. His son Jerome was just as on fire in the show ring as his dad. winning over specials to finish his championship in record time. he also excelled in obedience winning the Jessie throphy from the WSSCA . today a welsh will cost upwords of $1200. kind of out of my price range.

Love my Welshie. I've had him for 12 years, since he was a puppy. They're called the velcro dog, and for good reason. Once they're a part of your family they follow you around everywhere!

what he says at 3:07 is so sad to hear. that kind of stuff is what destroying the breed health wise in my opinion. it's just so many kennels that are more focused on getting a ribbon in the show ring, than breeding dogs that are in good health and condition. =(

These dogs were cooler before the 1940s when they had a change in breed standard which made them two inches shorter. Before that they were more like their cousins the American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire at that time.

That dark brindle dog wasn't a great example in my opinion.early staffy show dog dogs in early 1900s used to fight ass well fact which was accepted then .all pups don't grow same some are runt mite have slight defects naturally

There's a woman who goes to my church who has this type of dog. SWEETEST dog ever met. Just a nice and loving dog.

All dogs came from wolves, there is no real pedigree or pure-bread, it's all a load of bollocks. Every dog is a mutt and I don't mean that in a bad way. All those dogs he's saying are not correct look fantastic to me. The ones that are 'pure' and 'perfect' are still a result of mixed breeds. THICK AS FUCK!

Only purchase a Sussex Spaniel from a breeder that tests cardiac, elbow and eyes.

just lost our welsh terrier after 9 years, was an awesome dog, loving, loyal and playful yet stubborn as all terriers seem to be.

@ bigbobbybreakdance im also a breeder ive seen an increase in larger leggier staffs since they banned pitbulls.

This is why you should not bother with Pedigree Dogs, so many get put down for the stupid faults, like white boxers put down at birth stupid i prefer white boxers.
