I am a Singer/Songwriter and Vocal-Coach based in Mannheim, Germany. On this channel I just do what I want. I don't need to be bound by any genre of music, since there are so many beautiful styles of music out there. I love New Metal and Rock as much as Electronic Music or Jazz or TripHop. A good song, in my opinion, is always recognized by its ability to be transformed into any style of music, and since I am a singer, I love to sing lots of different kinds of songs. Songs are meant to be heard, are meant to be sung and to be remembered by their admirers. I've been playing in Rockbands all my life, and have also always been writing and playing songs on the piano, so next to my covers I'll also record some originals. I figured, that every Song I love to sing could be an interpretation of my own on the piano, no matter if it's written by System of a Down or Lady Gaga. My cover-versions are, in the end, just an expression of my love and gratitude for those songs. And that's it.

This is a TRIBUTE. Since I've been dealing with my fair share of depression it really breaks my heart to think about the suicide of Chester Bennington. I was, what I'd call, a Nu-Metal-Teenie and I must have listened to "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora" thousands of times. This song was one of my favorites (how could it not) and it seemed perfekt to do it as a very melancholic piano-version, since it really fits the lyrics. R.I.P. Chester B.

This is a TRIBUTE. When I was a teenager, Nu Metal was at its high. Limp Bizkit, Deftones, System of a Down, Korn, Papa Roach, Slipknot, the early Linkin Park albums - you name it, I probably liked it. And still do! So naturally, Limp Bizkit's "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog flavored Water" is one of my favorites. I must have listened to that album a million times by now. A truly great song...

This is a TRIBUTE. I love the acoustic-version of that song, so I made my own. Since I am a Singer & Songwriter I like to do my own interpretation of many, very different songs, just pretending a little bit that they were mine ;) That's it. Not trying to be someone else. Just keeping those Songs alive and paying my respect to them, by singing them (since thats part of my actual job anyways).
