Did you see the second pair of TR7 and 124 Spider there near the fence? I went to that yard with my dad about a week before you did. Found that old Plymouth hubcap in the trunk of the TR7 (seen on the console in your video) and almost bought it but it had a crease in it. I already have too many junkyard hubcaps! Antelope is a pretty good yard. I'll need to go back sometime. Your channel has clued me in to some interesting junkyard cars I haven't seen on Row52 or my own travels.

It is truly a sad sight to discover such a car in its death throes, it is nothing more than the "shadow" of a once gleaming Rolls... These vehicles are not expected to end their career piled -up in a scrapyard.

Californias CARB just banned all gas cars and classics! According to the federal HESCHLAVVO law, it is already forbidden in Switzerland to drive combustion engines on mountain passes from 2025. In France, the SCHLABOUBVE regulates that fossil vehicles that produce fine dust are prohibited in all cities from 2025. The BABVVO in Germany will bann exhaust gas pollution from 2027 and that is what will happen in entire EU also bann of all tires and brakes because of fine dust!!!

Sad to see them rot... I see so many valuable parts worth a fortune. The last R129 has a Becker HiFi unit in the trunk alone worth 400 quid already... I wonder why these classic cars are scrapped at all in the US. Here in Europe, it is mainly because of rust, but can' be the reason in California...

There are r&r's for sale all over the country. Copart and salvage resellers have them regularly. They are not Toyota's. Jay Leno estimated it costs about 5K/year to maintain one. The math is $416/month. comparable to payments on a fairly new car. I'm going to buy one sometime. Frame the title and put it on my wall. Put it on a trailer and go take pictures with it. Maybe even convert it to a 350 chevy engine. They have a 400 turbo trans DYN. Sad, but that one is too far gone.

Generally the bodywork looks very clean. Rust free and dent free.

You know the 82 Rolls grill was the first probably to be swiped along with any of the emblems. A few pieces left then awaiting the crusher.

Never got into BMW's. Once the miles pile up they just nickle & dime you constantly! The cost of just routine maintenance is ridiculous!
