I always feel the honorary doctorate they give to celebs a bit hokey at times but this was wonderful. He’s humble and admits he’s not a scholar and his speech was honest and humorous. Congratulations Sam! And thank you Stirling University for giving Mr. Heughan the honor.

I think Mrs. Diana Gabaldon also deserves some award or recognition from the Scottish community, since from the imagination, inspiration and research work of Diana Gabaldon came out all those fantastic characters as well as the magical places where the whole story takes place.
