I love these videos, ...... safety, never heard of it. 😁😂 No glasses, he's wearing safety sandals with open toes. 😜 But serious guys, when you mount that bigger chuck in a smaller at least put a threaded rod ( M30 ?? ) through the spindle tube and mount them together on the backside of the lathe and frontside of the chuck, you can be killed when a chuck flies off.

I wonder how accurate they can be with nothing but a wire and their eye. Good enough for most jobs I suppose.

That flywheel is over a thousand dollars to replace here in Australia and no one will repair them

They're just welding the outer break. What about the internal breaks to keep coolant in the correct passages and out of the oil.. I wish they did and update on these fixes bc alot would'nt last

Fixing something means returning it to its maximum forces durability, not just making it bolt up and "work" functionally.

I believe this axle needs to go to the garbage . You can't stick weld an axle , the weld is soft but the axle is hardened . If you even try for real you need to weld the inside first and slowly adding metal until you fill it completely . The way you've done it you just weld it outside leaving the inside unwelded .
