Mini Ghost Gameplay 6 - More Twitch Mode with Alien and Predator
I played with more Skins for Ghost on Twitch Mode. This time, I played with the Workshop skins of Alien and Predator. I found two more "Twitch Friends" as the Alien and I beat the second Boss as the Predator. I still need to avoid making dumb mistakes, but well... it was late at night when I recorded the video, so let's say my reflexes were slower because I was tired. At least I managed to make more progress, compared to the rest of my recorded playtime (I beat the game in Normal Mode in a non-recorded run years ago, so the achievements won't pop up if after beating the Bosses or the game itself), so I'm satisfied for the time being.
Let's see if this is the last upload of the year or if I have any last-minute surprise for you.
See you in the next video!

Mini Ghost Gameplay 5 (X-Mas Special) - Playing with X-Mas Workshop Skins + Finding "Twitch Friends"

It's been a very long while since I last played this game, but there were some features I didn't show in the previous videos I uploaded of this game. The first one was that you can change Ghost's skin for one created by yourself or one of those available on the Steam Workshop. Since this is a Christmas Special, I chose Christmas-themed skins for this video, although I didn't waste the opportuni...
Crazy Taxi Gameplay 2 - Now with the Original Soundtrack, Driver Voice Acting and Product Placement
มุมมอง 139 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I did some research about this game, and it looks like it was patched because of licence expiration. While I don't actually care much about the Product Placement, having the original drivers' voices replaced by the ones they have in the sequel puzzled me. However, the most sensitive aspect was the soundtrack. I mean, the replacement soundtrack isn't terrible, but the original simply fits better...

Well, that happens. Especially when the game has bugs that make the ball bounce spontaneously.
Смотреть очень тяжело, автор про контрольные группы даже не слышал. А так молодец конечно, лайк за терпение.
If Google Translate is correct (unfortunately I don't speak Russian or other Slavic languages written in Cyrillic), I am terrible at playing RTS games like this one, especially when it comes to control large groups of units. I usually just blink for a second and I have already lost almost every unit in many of my assigned groups, so I just select my units via the basic way and send them to move or attack, as needed. After all, this video is part of a "Noob's Walkthrough", so I'm just trying to beat the missions as a noob would do. Thank you for stopping by!
Just use control groups (binds). Ctrl+1 saves the selected units for 1, ctrl+2 for 2, etc
Today is December 8th (or December 9th depending on your Time zone) and the game is still available to buy on Steam for some reason.
I just confirmed it myself. I don't know what happened, but I'm happy that they are still available out there. These games, and other masterpieces by other companies, should never disappear.
Well, now it's officially delisted. It seems that they got confused and the delisting happened on December 9th, not 6th as announced. It's still bad news, but I hope the three extra days would have allowed enough people to grab these games before their definitive withdrawal.
How did you manage to get the controller working with your PC? Is there a way to set the controller inside the game? mine doesn´t detect the Bluetooth controller
Hello @LuchaMenos, thank you for your comment! I used a wired controller that worked with direct input, an “old school” device. This game is old, after all. Perhaps it can’t detect current technology like Bluetooth controllers or devices that work with X-input. I’m not immersed in controller technology, but that’s my guess. I hope it helps.
@@SkirmishRoot It did. Maybe you´re rigth. So sad about it. This game would be amazing to be played with an 8Bit do Bluetooth N64 modkit controller =(
Some modern controllers have the option to toggle X-input and direct input. Check if your controller has that option and set it to direct input. My current controller works with all games I tested it. It is wireless (via USB though) and has a switch on the back of the device to toggle the input mode.
How do you get the cat Kratos? I've gotten all achievements besides the one you get for unlocking all the cats because he wont unlock
and there is like nothing about this game online fr s
Honestly, I don't remember. I completed this game about six years ago, and I wasn't as careful with keeping track of the tasks for unlocking achievements as I am now. But there is a checklist of things you can try: - Play all levels on both Objective and Litterbox Modes. - Find and topple any unique objects you still have missing. - Play with all the cats you already unlocked. - Explore all game menus, especially the Photo Gallery and click on the photos you unlocked. - Did you access all "bonus levels" in-game (by finding the key hidden in the normal levels)? I remember that this game had a bunch of silly achievements, so I guess it's just a matter of thinking out of the box. Let me know if any of these ideas worked after you tested them. Greetings.
How do you link all 3 hard points?
Press Ctrl + F8 through F12, depending on the location of the hardpoint. The top one is F8, and the rest follow in crescent order. But beware, if that hardpoint is already linked, pressing those buttons will unlink it.
Where can I get this to play? What is it titled?
If you have “Battlezone 98 Redux” on Steam, go to the Workshop and subscribe to the “Legacy of the Black Dogs” custom campaign. It’ll download shortly after that.
@@SkirmishRoot Got it! Cool they made it from the intro vid
@@SkirmishRoot They should do the intro for the Red Odyssey too! I liked the animation of the smooth rounded Black Dog tanks
I agree, but personally, I find it harder to connect to the beginning of the Dogs of War campaign, because the first mission is explicitly set as a direct consequence of the events in the intro. That wasn't the case for the Stars and Stripes campaign, and that's why we got this one made, at least as a hypothetical spin-off.
This video came out of NOWHERE for me as I never heard of Battlezone before, IF AT ALL
I'm glad my video introduced you to this amazing game. Welcome aboard!
It's an amazing game. :)
Wow that's a nicely remade intro.
It is indeed.
Thanks for playing! I also recently released ISDF Chronicles on the workshop, which uses lore heavily from both games. :)
I remember seeing it there, but I wasn't aware it was connected to this campaign, so thanks for letting me know, although I think I'll play Burns' Rebellion after finishing this campaign, then check out ISDF Chronicles. Of course, I'll change my mind if ISDF Chronicles is placed before in the Bio-metal War timeline. In the meantime, I'll subscribe to the campaign on the workshop, to keep it in my radar. Also, thanks for watching!

Glad you loved it. Thanks for watching!
Did you also Rexeemd the 10 Steam Key,s ? 😂😂
No. I bought it on a sale. This video is the entire time I spent playing this game. Since the money I spent on it was roughly the same as a ticket on the public transport when I was an undergraduate student (with the student discount), I can hardly complain. However, this game is worth pretty much that exact experience, and only the away ticket, not even the round trip. Greetings!
There are only 9 levels (and types of levels too), but so much fun. The best game of all simulators in my opinion :)
Yeah. Too bad I beat the game before I committed to upload videos here. However, the creator of the game released a remaster. Would you like me to showcase that game on this channel?
@@SkirmishRoot Yes, of course! I will be only glad if you show me your walkthrough of the remaster of one of my most favorite games! I wish you good luck in this in advance :)

HEHE IM BACK :3
The fact that the Trade Federation's heavy artillery is just 'GIANT Droideka' will will always amuse me.
Nice catch! Although it’s actually the Cannon. The Heavy Artillery is another unit.
where can I find this Total Command Mod, bud?
The mod was already uploaded to the Steam Workshop by Coxxon, its developer. It requires other things like asset packs and such, but the mod's core will let you know which files you need to add. To add them, just click the "Subscribe Mod" button, and Steam will start downloading them. The mod is heavy, by the way, so it might take some time if your internet speed is slow or your computer has dated specs.
@@SkirmishRoot cool, thanks man
I remember this game back in 2001, It was included with Plus for Windows XP add-on. Plus Edition only included 2 stages, Classic and Rome. To get the full version of the game, I had to purchase Arcade Edition separately from Hyper Entertainment, Arcade Edition has one of the worst DRM at that time. Once I activate my game on my computer if I need to reinstall the game again, I have to contact the game developers to provide them the reason for my reinstallation before I can activate the game again.
I never had the Arcade Edition (I downloaded a pirated copy about ten years ago, but lost it shortly after), but yeah, the DRM you're talking about sucks. Reminds me of the SecuROM anti-piracy system I read and watched videos about. Thank you for sharing your memories of this game.
You rarely see Battlezone content here. Keep up the good work.
Rest assured, more is on the way. Welcome aboard!
Who even actually builds air units as Gungans????
Well, I did. The Trade Federation attacked with a lot of units, but didn’t bring much anti-air support. When I defended with ground units, it worked poorly. Air units worked better for me this time.
@@SkirmishRoot why did you report my comment?
I didn’t report any comment, and if I did, it was by mistake. Which comment of yours were you notified about? (I’m navigating on my cell phone, so it’s likely I ended up messing around with unintended actions. Sorry about that.)
@@SkirmishRoot Why did you report my comment? Why is there a white van outside of my house??
I really wish you could zoom in and out with the UI in GB.
I was just thinking about this. The AI can read our minds now. I'm scared.
I don’t know if that’s the scariest part, or what the AI might learn by reading them, especially the dumb things we have learned throughout our lives.
Llegar un viernes cansado y ver uno de tus videos. Un lujito
Esa es la idea, jejejejejeje.
Great job I just started playing this game again. I haven't played it since I was kid so these videos are pretty helpful. One thing I noticed that you may not be aware of is using hotkey selectors. You can group units and set them to a hotkey. Just press ctrl and the number you want them to be linked. IE Darth Maul could be linked to the number 1 by pressing ctrl 1 on the keyboard when you have him selected. Then instead of trying to find him can just press the number 1. Either way I'm not nearly as good as you are at the game yet.
Yes, I am aware about the hotkeys. In fact, I recall reading about that in the beginning of one of the missions in the Attichitcuk campaign, but I tend to forget the squads I assigned to each number because I get too immersed in the battle, and end up sending my next attack with my squad with only, let's say three surviving units, just to see them die without even damaging the target. I actually stink at RTS games, so I'm flattered by your compliment. Being honest, I play decently at most five games (including this one) belonging to this genre. For instance, my walkthrough of Dark Reign is halted until further notice because I can't beat the mission after the last video I uploaded of that game. Despite that, I hope my playstyle is easy enough to replicate, and so be useful for anyone who watches this walkthrough. At least that's the idea. Welcome aboard!
hey bro, look up the expanding fronts mod, you can get widescreen support for swgb.
I will, after beating the game without the mod. I stink for RTS games, and Expanding Fronts seems to have a reworked AI too, and I don't think I'm worthy yet. But I'm getting there!
@@SkirmishRoot Oh I didn't realise that, gl bro
What about the cheats bro? Where are those buffed ewoks. LoL
Nostalgia...That background music. I used to insert my cd game into my music player just for hearing those beautiful songs without playing the game meanwhile I was doing home duties.
That my favorite game, so i hope you have a great times with it.
I do. In fact, I still have a lot of content to cover, including the entire Downpour DLC, so you have plenty of time to catch up if you want to check out the previous videos in the series. Welcome aboard!
Thats crazy though
All in the name of content exploration. Cheers!
Do you play Battlezone 98?
Yes, I do. Mainly single player mode, because I stink at PvP. I haven't played the campaigns on the Steam Workshop, but I can certainly try them out. Personally, I'm interested in playing the "Burns' Rebellion" campaign someday, because I'm curious to see how it is connected to the events of BZII, but I haven't put my ideas together to go ahead and record a playthrough, and I don't know either if those Workshop Campaigns were designed to pose a challenge for the veterans of the BZ Community, for I will have a very hard time to beat the campaign in that case (those people are way better than me). It is being considered, nonetheless.
Holy hell, this looks stunning! I didn't know the first game received this treatment!
It's technically a mod of the second game, but yeah, it's a blast playing it. However, the difficulty is overall higher than the original missions, so I recommend to beat the base game before trying out this mod. The most interesting part, though, is that the missions are chronologically ordered, according to the lore of the Bio-metal War, although I personally don't agree with the order of some particular missions, but in general, the outcome is quite coherent. That being said, welcome aboard!
@@SkirmishRoot yeah, I've noticed there were light tanks in the first two missions :)
Just completed this mission for the first time. Difficult, but mostly because the developers changed the rules because they felt like it. "Oh, in this mission you cannot use a mortar, because then it wouldn't be so difficult." Or, in another mission, Dire Straits, "Oh, in this mission a single hit from a howitzer (2 km away) will level your whole base." It kind of takes me out of the experience when I see something so blatantly changed to suit their mission design. That's what I disliked about this game, but overall it's Battlezone, so it's awesome by default.
Yeah, there is a lot of fake difficulty in this expansion pack and straight up unfair conditions in many missions, like the enemy snipers that spawn at the heart of your base. But I think that the original "Stranded" mission in the Black Dogs campaign takes the cake, as they made you build Tanks, Bombers and APCs... with your Recycler! I don't know why the developers of this expansion proceeded like that, but their design flaws became even worse after the AI enhancement that came with the 1.5 patch. Also, a funny anecdote: when I first played this mission with the 1.4 patch, building a Gun Tower made the game crash, so I had to rely on Turrets to defend myself. Good thing the Soviets don't feel like taking the offensive in this mission. Otherwise, the mission would be broken under those circumstances.
TRO is exceedingly difficult...
I'm quite sure that much of its difficulty lies in that the AI was very stupid when it was originally developed. When the AI was reworked with the development of the unofficial 1.5 patch, most of the enemies became much harder to destroy, and when they placed the same amount and type of enemies with the reworked AI, they made some of the already hard missions almost impossible. Considering that BZ98 Redux was worked using the 1.5 patch as the basis for the core mechanics of the game, it wasn't surprising that the Red Odyssey missions became so hard. I was stuck with this one, "Protection" and "Dire Straits" (these last two belong to the Chinese campaign) for a long time until I managed to beat them. So don't feel too frustrated if you have problems to beat them, because they ARE very hard.
@@SkirmishRoot I don't know, man, I played the original and was sweating bullets the entire time. Never managed to beat it :)
I didn't have trouble to beat this mission in particular when I played it with the AI of the 1.4 patch, as most of the enemies were pretty much dancing in circles around your squad instead of actually engaging in a proper fight. But yeat, many other missions were insufferable. For example, the original "Meanwhile, back at the Ranch..." and the last Black Dogs mission were almost impossible, to the point I'm still thinking it was a luck-based mission, even when customizing my squad's loadouts and resupplying all my craft at every turn.
SniperMunch! Once you have used it you can never forget it
Indeed. Too bad it can't be used against Androids and Predators until they try to self-destruct, but I guess the mode would be broken if that were possible.
well pl;ayed do runs with the orighinal FMV ,you can download them online and replace them in the avp folder ,with the original movies it felt like childhood :D
I did it for the Cheat Modes, which are further down in the playlist. I realized that the soundtrack could be fixed after finishing the regular and bonus episodes, so the videos of the main game are with the messed tracks. Sorry about that.
Game looks cool
Indeed.
I fat finger clicked this video, I got introduced to something I always was looking for after finishing all mega man games (classic ones)
This one is more similar to the games of the Megaman X saga, but yes, it's an awesome game anyway. If you have friends that are Megaman fans too, you can play Co-Op runs with them (both of you can pick either Nina or Ace to play, regardless of which character picked the other player), just like its prequel 20XX.
You're soooo close, but it's too late - I'm sorry friend, but she's dead and your mistake killed her. looks like you'll have to do another run to find out what her deal was :)
I laughed so hard when you jumped of the platform in a desperate attempt to escape the daddy long legs.
I couldn't grab the vine that would allow me to escape unscathed, so I had to try another way out. Sadly, I ended jumping into the bottomless pits of the Underhang.
can
You can do whatever you like. But i think that an achievement run should be a play-through all by its self, rather then adding it on to another run once you've beat the game
And also.... i have just one small question... do you have a sister named emma?
No, I only have a brother, and it's not a Brother Long Legs. OK, that last clarification was a terrible joke.
About that suggestion, it's mostly because I was so close to unlock The Dragon Slayer and The Hunter achievements that I wanted to "finish the job". Also, I haven't explored anything in the Farm Arrays, so I have the moral obligation to, at least, find a second shelter in that region. After I'm done with that, I'll play as another Slugcat, I think.
you beat the game!! Congrats!! now, will you be the hunter? a slugcat that only has few cycles left to live? the gourmand? a food loving ball of fatness? (and also contains the fabric of the universe inside him) or the artificer? an explosive, revenge seeking slugcat.. Against a *Tribe* of intelligent biengs that scavenge the remains of this destroyed Metropolis?
Thank you for following my progress all along. I'm also grateful to you, as you gave me some little but very important hints to keep going when I got stuck. I was planning to move onto a more modest target first, as I wanted to play with the Monk after I was done with my gameplay as the Survivor, mostly for the sake of completion of the vanilla lore. Of course, I'm open to different ideas, but I think I still have many things to polish, and playing as the Monk looks like the best way to improve as a player, in my opinion. I hope to do a much cleaner run with it, too. About the DLC Slugcats, I'm leaning towards the Gourmand right now, but all of them look interesting to play as, although I think that I'll have a very hard time whenever I play as the Saint. It seems to differ a lot from the other Slugcats in its playstyle.
You got the DLC!! lets gooo!
Indeed. Expect this series to be extremely long.
It doesn't keep your high score?!
It does, but it's only shown when you start playing the same map again. I just checked it out.
@@SkirmishRoot And the DLC packs for survivor. Are they for multiplayer survivor or single player survivor too?
Yes, they are for Single Player Survivor, too. I reinstalled the game without the DLCs and the DLCs' maps weren't available.
