Installation of Transmission Seals
มุมมอง 7184 ปีที่แล้ว
SKF-11223. Takes 4 SKF-7513. Takes 1 This costs about $40 dollars in seals. I only install new seals in tractors I'm going to paint. I use the plastic because the pitted axle shaft cuts the lip of the seals. Never had one leak after using this technique.

Non original engine, rims the wrong color. No hood. But it works pretty good! 917.57597 model tractor. Custom fabricated front counterweight aids in turning machine at end of row. Through trial and error I have found the small narrow corn shovels work the best. For me the larger shovels made trenches mid row and where harder to pull.

I have an old DB marked Sears, without an engine. I'm wondering if it has a ball or spring type clutch. It has the long adjustment spring on the control rod. Doesn't seem to be any spring pressure on the lever. I have a nice looking Wisconsin to check out. Not sure of the model but has a Fairbanks type magneto. Any info would help.

This is a great video to show what's going on when you engage the clutch lever. One question on your reassembly though... Instead of muckling that lever by hand to deal with overcoming the spring, why don't you just hook up the operator's lever up at the handles, and engage the declutch there. That's what it does.
