after giving it a try I can say that the normal mode 90° cut angle tolerance feels way too strict for normal mode and that accing feels too lenient. could be a skill issue but even after playing for an entire hour I still found myself bad cutting on easy maps. personally I think it could be nice if the normal mode cut angle tolerance was increased to 100° and change the 50 points to 10-15 instead of 9-15. in any case this is a very nice mod, well done!

I really respect the effort and a lot of the changes are very cool, however, I personally don't really like that you can actually 100% maps now. For me, whenever I play other rhythm games with leaderboards, seeing all these people having 100% across the whole thing is kinda discouraging. Beat Saber is different though. Even the very best of the best scores are still only 97%-98%, which, to me, feels a bit more grounded(?) if that makes sense. Getting a high spot on the leaderboards just feels way more achievable to me that way. It also means that there is always room for improvement, which keeps people from getting overly arrogant (speaking only from my personal experience here, so take that with a grain of salt). Also, the old health system was totally fine. I don't know why that should be changed. The change is certainly interesting, but I don't know if it was necessary. I think that it is actually pretty cool, that you can always get back to 100% health. Permanently removing up to 44.4% of your total health feels a bit too punishing for me, especially when paired with the fact, that the game overall is harder now, with the stricter cutting angle and tighter hitboxes. Also, please keep in mind that this is all my own opinion and that I won't hate anyone for making or using the mod. I'm just trying to share some constructive criticism. The mod overall is very cool. I love the hidden modifier or the removal of wrong colour badcuts for example. Anyway, I still have a huge respect for the effort and time these overhauls must've taken. Love <3

Overall I think this is really cool, but I don't personally care for the health system changes. I don't think it should be removed, but I do think there should be an option in the mod to use the base game health system if you want to

Is there a toggle to switch between base game mechanics and the new mechanics? If so I'm 100% downloading this to give it a try, my only hesitation is having to uninstall and reinstall it each time I want to use the mod or go back to regular BS.

Ive always thought that swing angle being the only factor besides raw accuracy a little strange as it allows wrist flick swings. Such a swing has almost 0 torque behind it which to me always felt unnatural. If you want a swing to have more weight than physically moving your hand at least a little should be required. Though I do get it if you like the other system better. It's not bad just preference.

you should've made the no wrong color bad notes a modifier.... It seems like that really defeats the purpose of the game, which seems especially true for the lower-level playing. Y'all should also create a new hitbox design that has an arrow that represents the new angle as the regular ones seem to represent the original angles. There's definitely some cool ideas, but those issues make it less appealing to a lower skilled player like myself (expert level maybe expert+ for some)

I have not played in a year or so. This might just bring me back if only for a little while..

In one of your other replies, you mentioned a quest port was in the works, but which version will it be for? Will it be available for just those on the latest version, those back on 1.28, or both?

i saw that you were planning to get this to 1.37 soon thanks to a few comments you responded to, but are there any plans to get it on quest?
