hi! thanks for the vid. i see you’ve said on other comments there is limit of only 1 suitcase per person. is it possible to bring one check in size luggage and one carry on size luggage? also, are you allowed to bring food and drinks/alcohol on board? thanks!
In the states, we'd call that a bunk. You're very generous by calling it even a capsule room. I can't do watercraft without a window. Went on a cruise and had an interior room once. I felt nausea whenever I lay down in that room. On future cruises, I had a balcony. I felt much better.
That first shot with the train, station and sea made my eyes tear up. Beautiful. What a magical place. And you captured it so wonderfully. It looks like a place I'd visit in my dreams.

Thanks for your comment! 😃 I booked a round trip ticket so I paid both Japanese and Korean port taxes. If it's a one-way trip, I think you only need to pay the port tax at the port of departure.

How does the customs and immigration go, is it before or after the cruise? Is the process depending what citizenship to that nation?
After disembarking, you will pass through customs and immigration. I don't remember if it was done according to nationality.

Hello! I noticed something peculiar, when you passed people in a tight hallway you passed on the left side, I also noticed in Japan you drive on the left side. Is passing (walking) on the left side normal? Here in Canada you drive on the right side and typically walk on the right side in stores / hallways. Or was that a coincidence?

I normally walk on the right when passing someone as im accustom to road rules. I spoke with a friend in India, Dubai and England which all said they tend to walk on the side of their road's rules. I always love it when a video shows that. They and the company know that the only reason they have a job is because they need to provide good service. They are showing that they appreciate the passengers.

Great video, I did this same trip in the same room in February 2012 to visit the Sapporo Yuki matsuri. The waters were really rough but it was still fun.

How much did you pay? I'm looking to book it for next month, I'm checking the junior suite as well, it's around $275, but I'm getting mixed information about the port taxes. On the booking page, it says a whopping $80 in taxes for two people, while on the jr beetle page, it's only $6 per person.

Busan departure 20,000 won / Osaka departure 2,000 yen (From January 2020) Fuel surcharges are subject to change based on international oil prices and exchange rates based on the departure date. Terminal fees (including security fees) and tourism promotion are separate. (₩4,400 on departure from Busan Port) Osaka Port additional facilities use charges 700 yen are separate. (When departing from Osaka Port)
I'm confused about the basic fare. Will I have to pay 1140 yen or 960 yen and can I use the ICOCA Card or the Kansai Thru Pass Card to enter at namba station and exit at kyoto station ?
