St. Mike's annual "Club Blue Note" (May 2016) featured the combined jazz bands of two brother Basilian high schools, Detroit Catholic Central High School and St. Michael's College School (Toronto).

Two Basilian high schools: Detroit Catholic Central and St. Michael's College School join forces to perform at St. Mike's annual "Club Blue" evening.

CC has been teaching Mandarin Chinese now for 5 years. Several students have won scholarships to spend the summer in Chinese. Students have also had great success in the Annual Chinese Quiz Bowl at Wayne State University. Thank you Teacher Fang!

The Award-winning CC band plays "O Come All Ye Faithful"

Singing the school song, "Mary Alma Mater" ("Mary, nurturing mother") is an important part of CC tradition. Recently the Men of CC have added to that tradition by facing the tile mosaic of Mary Alma Mater, a creation of Miles Trealout '11 and Jason Biacha '11, while singing this hymn to our Blessed Mother.

Friday of Boys' Bowl Weekend at Detroit Catholic Central begins with the best band in the land, the CC Marching Band leading in the Boys' Bowl floats. We then have a student race which raises money for the Make A Wish Foundation. Afterward we proceed into the gymnasium for the annual CC Boys' Bowl Assembly. #CCPride

The first assembly of the 2015-2016 academic year to honor the National Championship Academic Team and the State Championship Golf Team. After the golf and academic teams enter the gym to thunderous applause, the assembly begins traditionally, which includes the "Central Hand Cheer" followed by the singing of the school song and Marian Hymn, "Mary Alma Mater", followed by the Shamrock Cheer.
