Beer steins are used because it keeps the drink cold! Its made of thick material to prevent heat transfer from your hand the the air around you. Also the lid is used to keep bugs and other stuff out of your drink- but its mostly used to keep it ice cold

Definitely seems like a cool variation of the shop sim genre! Playing these games always scratches a weird addictive itch for me, and the aquarium decorating and selling as well as your stock being live fish is a pretty neat spin . Hopefully the devs will be able to fully flesh out these ideas and give it the time and care required to make this a new standout sim (similar to how TCG sim took over). My biggest concern with these types of games is they really quickly turn into lazy slop and go unfinished/stay eternally in early-access, especially with the stock assets and AI art/graphics. I can excuse the art style if the gameplay is effective tho. I imagine employees will be vital at a really early stage, with customers requiring someone to catch the fish from the tanks, and having someone on register to free up time for tank decoration and fish breeding. Hopefully we get to see a more complete build with plenty of decor and customization options, proper habitat and care tactics (freshwater/saltwater, fish food & diet, tank accessories like filters, lights, bubbles,etc), and a wide selection of fish and aquatic creatures to fill out those tanks. I wasn't able to find a roadmap of features for the game anywhere and looking at the developer page on steam, I worry that this will just be a barebones sim sold as a cash-grab... and not the proper fish & aquarium store sim of our dreams. But time will tell!

You know, I wasn't aware that the art was properly done by their artists and wasn't an already made asset pack. Something I guess I just assumed because of the style of game it is. If that's the case then it would make sense for them to keep working with that IP now that its starting to get its branding out there. Makes me wonder if they'll actually make a playable version of the card game at some point.

Also you were talking about DnD making it hard to find time… look into Play by Post DnDs… me and my friends live across the country and work different hours so our DM will post then we all will make our moves over the course of a day or so and it is all tracked in our discord server for the game… they have various online websites and even bots for the discord server that make it easy
