I think I’m in the intermediate phase. My hair is thickening, I’m getting less slippage & I feel more confident. I didn’t realize until you said it, but I haven’t worried about my hair in a while now! Waking up not worrying about your hair is such an unappreciated flex. I feel free & love seeing my growth. I’ll admit I covered my hair the first month because I just felt naked & uncomfortable, but I’m now celebrating my 1 year today 😊 Looking back it did go by fast, like it flew by after the 3 month phase when I was impatient. I’m so thankful that I’m still committed and have no regrets 🎉 Thanks for sharing I needed to see this today ❤

Glad things worked out for you. Questions- Why were split ends an issue for you? Did you start off on already-damaged hair??? Or, are you referring to the locs unraveling when you say “split ends?” Also, what does the boot camp entail? Is this a sisterloc boot camp??? Please make it make sense ❤😊
@@ErikaJhaymes Hey! My ends were split before locking. They were an issue because when retightened there would be a lot of slippage and breakage, therefore it wouldn’t hold up in the long run. The boot camp entails a group of students that are shadowed by a licensed professional loctician. They are all completing a full install of Sisterlocks to go towards getting their license so the install for the client is better financially. They are all supervised through each step to make sure things are installed properly.
