    OK, so how do we make more than just one square to make a blanket using this technique?

    This is a 2 kg ball, but not all was used for the demonstration. A 2 kg ball arm or floor knits to approx, 145cm x 75 cm. A 4 kg ball approx 145 cm x 145 cm. Mammoth is our chunkiest of chunky yarns.

      Hi. 2 kg, is the average amount used. This makes approx 70 cm x 145 cm. A 4 kg ball makes appropriate 145 cm x 145 cm. ❤️

    Hi would you recommend blocking this once finished? I use mammoth yarn a lot and find it fluffs a lot, wondering if blocking will help keep the finished items “solid” for longer? Thanks xx

      Hi Megan, sorry for the delay in responding! We don't seem to be getting comment notifications from TH-cam! Honestly, we haven't tried blocking with Mammoth. We find that there is enough give and stretch in the stitch to reshape easily with our hands. Do let us know if you try it and share your tips with us! :).

    How much wool have you used for it ? And from where have you bought it?

    • @woollymahoosiveextremelych3546
      @woollymahoosiveextremelych3546 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lu, Sorry for the delay in replying. All the info for how much you need for different sized blankets is on our website, on the Mammoth Yarn product listings and on our blog. We've also just updated the description of the video to include this guidance too. We hope this helps. The yarn is from WoollyMahoosive.com :)

    U have not mentioned how much wool is needed for a blanket

      @woollymahoosiveextremelych3546 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry Kumari, we were focusing on the technique for this video, thanks for your comment though, as we have now added the guidance to the video description so you can work out roughly how much yarn you need for a particular sized blanket. We have the info on our website too in the product listing and blog. We hope this helps. :)
