What deck is that?
Great song!
Good info- but indy can only be done backside, there is no such thing as frontside Indy, this is a fact with no gray area of interpretation
Do you guys still ride?! This is my street! Had no idea other people skated in RPV
❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'll give yah ... looks good kid love the hat lol
thanks for the tips!
I have a Rally Cat Kimono with the teal EZ Hawgs. They feel nice!
Just bought one, but in the white version from a nice couple, who were selling their daughter’s board, who used it twice. Can’t wait to take it out
The Coleman slide, named after Cliff.
Kewl shit
What did u pay for this board?
That road 😍
You couldnt have picked some shittier music?
awesome to see this board skated!! the drop cat without the kicktails is much more popular and since this was discontinued i havent seen many videos of it. currently scouring yt for anyone who’s got one. i found a drop carve 38 on facebook marketplace a couple years back and i had a pretty similar setup with the gen 5 180mm trucks and 77a otang stimulus but i just could not get the hang of it. but then a few months ago i threw on some gen 6 155mm 50° trucks to rail match it a bit better (also have small feet) and i found i had much more snappy carving that ive come to love. its taken over as my primary board. awesome video!
I like the tip at the end about having the right kind of wheels, that's very important
Dayum so good!
I have 2 questions: 1.) Can you run 130mm RKP trucks on boards like the Cheesegrater and Obsidian? 2.) If you are an experienced smaller rider and you want a more compact DH board besides the Cheesegrater with a smaller wheelbase; would it be wise to get a smaller DH board if you were experienced enough?
1. For the Cheesegrater, you would need very wide wheels to balance out the width of the truck and the width of the deck so that you match the rails. The obsidian works well with 130s and moderately wide wheels. 2. It depends on what you are doing. Narrower boards are typically harder to standup slide, but provide more control when going fast through turns and glove down slides. So if you’re more into standup slides, it would probably be better to stick in the 9.3-9.75 range with 155mm trucks.
Is it more difficult to slide on a smaller trucks compared to wider ones? I have 105mm Polar Bear trucks on my Landyachtz Dipper and I want to slide on it. Thank you
Where can i buy this middel range deck ?
What is the name of this skate park? It looks dope!
You need a drill press with platform that the wheel can pass through or next to. This way you can rest the file on the ledge and essentially create a lathe type rigging. This way you would be able to pass by eye the same distance across giving a uniform wearing pattern. You could set up a ruler and be precise.
Thank you so much man for your video but sound….
Sheeeeeeeesh
I’m goofy too do more vidz
That looks fun!
This made me secure my choice of buying one
How you make it look so easy?
what helmet really like the visor look
Nice looking board. even better looking rider
Nice job at 3:00. Nice slide
Wish they still made that deck
Thanks for outro inspiration. I’ve got no experience (54 years old) and just like the downhill better than the kooky stunts.
Re UPLOAD a new year version:)
Good video! Wanted to ask, for someone starting out to coleman slide,do you have to grab the board trying to slide or should you?
Did you build that ramp? Looks like the perfect size wondering if there’s a vid
How stable is that board? Appreciate 🙏🔥🔥🔥🛹🌈
hei man i have a question: what is the hardness of your wheel?
Those were 78a easy hawgs
@@lylacrew1606 okay, thanks
so irritating
Awesome! This is my end goal. I'm too terrified to try but I'll work up some courage as I get more comfortable on the board.
Probably the only skateboard videos ever with Clint Black as the soundtrack. I just ordered the Gordito Pantera and am excited to cruise around with it. I don't think I'll really do any tricks more involved than just being able to ollie so I'm not worried about a large or heavy board. This really looks like the perfect casual board and I can't wait to try mine out.
Questions: so I’m about 5.1 ft. Almost 13 years old, and an adrenaline junky, and I’m looking to get into downhill. I’m an absolute beginner and don’t know which board to get. I love the cheese grater and stuff but I don’t know if my height will affect my experience riding a longboard. Is there a specific type of deck/trucks you would, recommend for a shorter person? Loved the vid, thx
When I was 13, I was on the 2013 Wolfshark. The Cheesegrater is the same size as that board. That stock Cheesegrater complete should be perfect!
