@@ValleyParanormalCT yeah …that hospital? Around for THAT long? No WAY there aren’t any spirits. Albeit those who have passed there and the 1000,ssssss of workers over the years who have passed as well. HAS to be stuffed- max capacity! Stuffed with spirits!

I think a common misconception some people have is that places that are still in use and busy, such as hospitals, can't really be haunted unless they're closed up and vacant (such as Fairfield Hills or Norwich State Hospital, both of which I've been in and are definitely haunted). But not only are "active," open hospitals possibly haunted, they're also charged with the energy of the people that come and go every day. People pass away, babies are born, etc. Locations like that retain all the energy going back decades. I have a friend who used to work overnight in the behavioral health department at Griffin, and he would always talk about the weird things he would see and hear (people talking when no one was there, shadows walking the halls, etc.). I would love the chance to just openly explore Griffin Hospital someday; but, sadly, I doubt that's going to happen...

@@ValleyParanormalCT agreed… the OPEN hospitals get charged every day by emotions. Extremely happy (newborn baby) extremely scared (heart attacks) extremely sad (no example needed) … that plus actual extricate - and a crap ton of it! Being used 24/7 . Why wouldn’t there be? And why would they leave if so? A constant current of emotions and a /dc at its finest - flowing alllllll daaaayyyy. It’s an all you can eat buffet for spirits! lol

That is possible, yes. I should mention, though, that we went back to that exact spot and took pictures and video of it a few weeks ago. The reason it may look like the figure is emerging from a bush is because there is actually a slight hill there, which gives the illusion that the figure is flying from a low position when actually it was flying/running uphill. Thank you; we love this app, too. The app can be found in the Google Play Store (not sure about the Apple Store); it is called the "GhostTube VOX Synthesizer." You can use it for free, but the free version gives you a maximum limit of approximately five minutes every 24 hours. To use the full version, it costs $2.99 a month. Since there are many "fake" and ridiculous spirit box apps out there, we just pay the $2.99 per month because this seems like one of the few real ones that exist. Thank you for your comments!

Do we, at Valley Paranormal, believe that? Not really. But it was still fun to investigate and see if anything out of the ordinary happened.

Thank you, as well, for your comment. As I just wrote to pktiger7 above, we would love to investigate Dudleytown. That is one of the most active and well-known places in Connecticut, and it should be on any paranormal investigator's bucket list. Unfortunately, the area isn't open to the public and they take trespassing very seriously. In regards to 966 Lindley Street, we could maybe investigate the area around it, but I doubt we could get inside. And we have sent in requests to investigate Remington Arms over the past few years, but never received any replies. That is one of the places we have wanted to go to, too, for years. You never know what can happen in the near-future, though...

Thank you for your comment. We at Valley Paranormal would LOVE to do a Dudleytown investigation. Whenever someone thinks of haunted locations in Connecticut, that is the first one that comes to mind. Unfortunately, it is not open to the public, and the person who owns the property now is very strict about that sort of thing. If we could get in there without legal/criminal repercussions, I promise we would, in an instant.

Wow! That is pretty scary. I've heard the screams of fisher cats before, and they can be pretty terrifying. With that being said, the whole area around Great Hill Cemetery is pretty creepy in and of itself--maybe there is something else lurking around...

I was thinking maybe a crow, too; the only thing that doesn't have me convinced is that when it is slowed down to 0.25 playback speed, it looks like something is almost running or jogging, rather than flying or diving downwards. But I'm certainly not someone who is going to immediately jump on the idea that it is paranormal. It is just very interesting, that's for sure. Thank you for commenting!

Actually, this makes me suspect that maybe it was a crow that was diving onto another animal... Perhaps the little red/greyish thing was a fox, and the black thing was a crow diving down onto it. But it is uncertain. This definitely warrants another trip back there, lol.

Wow, thank you for the kind words. Yes, we decided to go into the YMCA to get memberships about a month ago--and Chris wandered into a dark room and we decided to do an impromptu investigation. I know what you mean about Church Street...I love the old buildings around there! We have gone to Gunntown quite a few times, actually, yes. The videos are posted on our channel; you can search "Gunntown Cemetery" on our channel and they should come up. I think we've been there three times now. One of the best parts about living in the valley is all the creepy, strange areas to go explore. We've never tried the areas near the Oxford Airport, though; thanks for the heads-up.

Also, thank you for being the first to "like" the video. We hope to return to these "haunted streets" and film, again, when we acquire a decent night-vision camera.

I know; we recently purchased a camera that claimed to have night vision on it, just for things like this. It doesn't really work too well, though, and we're in the process of buying a more expensive, better-quality camera instead. Thank you for your comment! Our mother used to live close to Downs Road, many years ago; she would often ride her bike down there. She never felt anything strange, though. Perhaps most of it is just superstition; but it is still a cool street to investigate.

Thank you for your question! The short answer is, I guess we really don't know. But the more complicated answer is, there is a "word database" in the app that spirits can choose from. Almost like when we open up a dictionary and pick a word, or set of words; this is, in my opinion, what the spirit box is like. Spirits can use the app to select words that they wish to "say." It isn't as though the voices that come out of the spirit box are the actual voices of ghosts; those are just the words that are pre-programmed into the app, and the spirits can pick words out. I don't know if that makes sense or just makes it more confusing. Lol.
