Given that I associate GodSmack with a three book series I wrote when I was 17, I assumed that was effecting the imagery when I gave Ragnarok/Drengr of The Ragnarok a listen. That was until I learned "Drengr" was associated with "a brave warrior." This let me know that my brain was working faster than my ears, because despite mishearing it as "drinker of the ragnarok," my mind conjured imagery of a red headed woman cleaving demons in two in two with a pair of swords, as she explores an apocalyptic Earth. I've gotta finish those books.

As a guy who has two AMVs planned for the second version of Wolf Totem that The Hu did with Jacobby Shaddix of Papa Roach fame, this gave me an idea for an AMV.

Parrish does the same kind of throat singing, so why they haven't done a collab song is criminal.

I always thought Peyton sounded very similar to Godsmack, really well done!

I already knew The Hu before found this song, and didn't know Peyton Parrish, but those 2 sounds extremely similar, and is a very badass combination.

Nice mashup video! BTW I’d honestly LOVE to see Native American thrash metal musicians Robert Trujillo, Chuck Billy and Joey Belladonna collaborate with The Hu and Peyton Parrish. I think that would be EPIC, honestly.
