When Graduation came out it was during peak torrent era. I had no idea Bittersweet Poetry wasn’t a regular track on the album until streaming platforms became a thing. They eventually added Good Night to the streaming version of Graduation, don’t know why they don’t or can’t add Bittersweet Poetry.

This is actually the song that made me a fan. A few years ago I thought I should listen to some Kanye, see what it's all about. So, I decided to listen to Graduation on TH-cam (listening to whole albums wasnt't my typical behavior). While I vibed with the album as a whole, Bittersweet Poetry was the only track that initially stood out to me and the first song of his I downloaded.

Bittersweet I think was originally going to be on Late Registration. There was a short clip of him working with John Mayer and then the hype for it just took off. Not sure I ever knew that it was officially ever released. I always thought that it seemed like it was the most over hyped song ever
