I have to say this is the best warfarin lecture I've ever had! Thank you!
For vancomycin, the peak and trough equations are those for steady state, that is 4 half lives from the start of the course?
Good briefing.
what happens if you get constipated? Can you take over the counter constipation medication to help?
I’ve been using it for a month now started working straight away to a degree, but by week 4 it seemed to really kick in which is great , it’s life changing for me.
Glad to hear it’s helping!
Oh my. I am a new provider as NP in Neuro and sleep medicine. I'm gonna start watching your neurology playlist. I'm hoping you upload more, like seizure, dementia, myasthenia, MS, GBS, etc. Also, if you can add sleep meds too for insomnia, narcolepsy, RLS etc. I'll pay for your content if I have too. 🥰
Thanks for watching! I hope the information helps you in your practice. I do plan on doing a lecture on insomnia meds. And possibly one consolidating meds used for neuromuscular diseases. Please tell your friends about my channel!
It’s amazing- lost 2 stone in 1.5 months
And the IBW in the obesity part. I got 63.7kg using the parameters there ,how did you get 68kg
You’ve reached here 😂😂😂
how did you get the value for ideal body weight for the obese patient calculation 🙏🙏
Is there a way to calculate numbers needed to treat?
Fantastic breakdown.
For the renal failure case, the protein required was supposed to be calculated with 2.5g/kg/day but you used the normal protein that is 1.5g/kg/day in calculating....
The range of protein for renal failure is 1.5-2.0g/kg/day the maximum is 2.5g/kg/day
It's when the patient is undergoing dialysis that you'll use 2.5g/kg/day because dialysis causes protein loss
any UNN 400 lvl student here 😂😹
Yes dear 😂😂 Prof. Adibe got us all into this

It works, I use Veozah!
I’m glad it’s helping you!
I'm glad to hear it works. My insurance just approved mine today finally a good night sleep
What about Statins for cholesterol? Does it interact with that? Or maybe even assist with regulating LDL so maybe you don’t need them anymore?
From my understanding it doesn’t interact with statin drugs. As far as, lowering LDL, yes it can due to wt loss. Provided terzepatide is causing a pt to decrease their intake of food.
Best TPN tutorial ever❤
I really appreciate your feedback! Thank you for watching my channel, and tell a friend about us!
learned a lot thank you !
Great! Thanks for your feedback; I really appreciate it!
Im on week 7 only lost 3 lbs, Im starting to take my husbands metformin along with this zepbound to see if that helps 😏
How much do you weigh? I works wonders for me. I didn’t even eat yesterday because I had no appetite ❤
Any pdf source pls?
I’m sorry, no, there isn’t a pdf available.
I love your magician!
Thanks!
7-19-24 I tested positive yesterday. I went to pick up the medicine today and tastes horrible. I pray it goes away fast.
Hope you feel better soon!
Excellent lectures on antibiotics. I learned more from your channels than the pharmacy school lectures.
Pharmacy school teaches a good amount of material, but what is key to learn is the condensed practical information taught by someone experienced. Even though this lecture is 3 years old, I think it still holds up well with age. There are a handful of newer antibiotics approved in the past few years that I will probably bundle and present in a future video. These are mostly limited use for MDROs. Thank you for your comments and keep on watching!
I am preparing for NAPLEX and this lecture is so helpful. You should have more views and subscribers!
Glad that you are finding the information helpful! Thank you for your kind comments. Tell your friends about the channel! Good luck on taking the NABPLEX!
I am studying for NAPLEX and this really helps. You are so knowledgeable and must be a professor! Your video should be seen by more poeple!
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and that it is helpful. Please let others know about my channel!
I suffered chills, flashes, and sweats for at least 20 years. I lose five hours of sleep each night from sweats and flashes, and for 15 years, I reported these problems to doctors. My doctors never gave me any treatments. This week, my endocrinologist gave me a sample of Veozah. I noticed that the night sweats stopped after taking the tablet. I can sleep without waking up with wet clothes, hair, and sheets or getting bone-hurting chills. I am crossing my fingers that the tablets don't cause any harmful side effects.
I have started taking it too…i notice a small difference atm…
I’m thinking of taking this med, please advise how you are doing now?
I tried Saxenda and had horrible anxiety attacks. My anxiety is linked to my hormones. Do you think Tirzepatide would work better for me?
💛
These videos are well informative and a good refresher for pharmacy students/pharmacists!
Thank you so much for your kind words about my channel! Please let others know about the PharmEZ tutor!
for how long can I take tirzepatide before I need to take a break?
Hey! Can you do a topic on how to diagnose and treat the different types of anemias
Good idea! I’ll put it on my list.
Great video 👏🔥
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Thank you….very detailed and informative.
Glad it was helpful! And thanks for watching my channel!
My sister is taking this medicine - she is down about 15 lbs in 2 months BUT most of the time she is on the sofa SICK... She feels so bad she can't do anything for 3 to 4 days after the injection then she's OK, injects next and bam she feels awful for 3 to 4 days. How can she overcome this? Please help...
A lot of water daily. Lifting weight and eating clean
Try doing 2 shots per week instead of all at once. Sunday and Wednesday works great for me as long as they are 3 days apart
What do you mean two shots per week.
@@shabrew2033I think she meant split into two shots from one syringe.
Its on backorder for months now and no one can get it. DOn't count on finiding it at any pharmacy.
Just talked to the doc and hopefully I get approved. I should have it in hand by this time next week. Thanks for the information you give. 🥤
Thanks for watching my channel,
Did u get approved?
what if I no longer have a thyroid?
I no longer have a thyroid. Mine was destroyed by radiation ablation after Graves’ disease. My endocrinologist did prescribe me Zepbound did not see any reason not to.
I've been on Mounjaro for 3 months (just starting my 4th month). No side effects and have lost nearly 30 pounds. Very frustrated about the cost involved! I'm on Medicare and I'm NOT diabetic; therefore, I have to pay full price for the prescription. I just wish Eli Lilly would help out with some kind of co-pay!!! My blood pressure is down, I'm not longer officially "obese" and on the way to being a much healthier person!!!
Eli Lilly DOES help out. Go to their website immediately and sign up for savings card. It brings the price down from $1200 to $550. You might have to switch to brand Zepbound which is exactly the same thing as Mounjaro. Zepbound is the one for obesity.
does that mean you are taking it continuously once a week over several months? I am interested in knowing for how long I can take this before I take a break
Retatrutide is now also available. Contact me for details.
@michael Congratulations!!!
@@hmf5328I’m new. But been reading lots where people on for years

very informative. thank you.

Side affects are absolutely the worst not sure I can do this been I. Bed for 3 days
Hi why is that if you don't mind me asking ?? My stomach started hurting been on day 3 on abdominal pain
If your not drinking enough water, or eating too much, that will happen
very informative tutorial especially mechanism of action and application of the injection. THANK YOU
You are welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed my video!
The medication is just too expensive🤨
Life saver taste weird do
Great information thank you!
Great job
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Thanks for the info Very helpful
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching my channel!
I am in 2.5 of Zepbound. It is my 3rd week and haven’t noticed much of a difference in my appetite or cravings. Is that normal at this dose? I had been on Wegovy for only one month at the starting dose and wasn’t hungry or having any cravings. I couldn’t continue the Wegovy due to the supply issue. Also, thank you for this very informative video.
The 2.5 mg dose of Zepbound is for treatment initiation and not for weight loss management. You will probably need to titrate the dose up to at least 5 mg to achieve a response. It’s always best to ask these questions to your prescribing doctor to be sure in your specific case.
@@thepharmeztutor716 thank you so much for your response and this excellent video ☺️
Same for me. I just finished my first month and haven't experienced any wl or side effects really besides fatigue and headache. I just moved up to 5mg. After my first week still nothing. Trying to remain hopeful but for this price I better see something soon.
@@moniqueb387any updates after moving up to 5mg?
I didnt lose much either, maybe 1 or 2 lbs., im on my 7th week
Thanks
Thank you for watching my channel!
I had almost no side effects and have lost over 50 lbs to date , a year
Did you eat healthier right away and maybe that's why you didn't have any side effects? I'm getting ready to start this and I'm a little worried about the side effects. I don't eat much already and not a lot of sugar. Did you start slow and go higher in dose??
It just came out in December though, so how have you been on it for a year?
Congratulations!
@@maggiemae6867 How have you done on Zepbound? I see your post was two months ago. I’m a bit mixed on taking it.
Basically it just makes you not hungry and helps you burn fat quicker?
Side effects are BRUTAL!
What were your symptoms like? Do you have a gallbladder?
Yes me too
I have NO side effecrs...so not everyone has side effects
Diarrhea 2 to 3 days after shot every week. Little weight loss, but I am aware that diabetics lose less weight
Constipation was my only side effect thank God I lost 3lbs so far very grateful 😊
