Just fought it in G Rank in 4U (just beat Gogmazios) and I definitely agree with you on that People often complain about the “random frenzy explosions” but they’re not random; they often cut off an escape route commonly used in low/high rank, like when he charges at you; the explosions act to punish you for running away in a certain way (if you run at the wrong angle; you’ll run straight into an explosion) or the explosions after the big slam is meant to make that opening harder to exploit

Pretty much my favorite style when I'm fighting very large and agile monsters like Shaggy

For CB, its fun as well. Valor is nice and all, but i feel Adept is better, especially for CB.

i always switch between valor and adept, adept for non chain hitting monsters and valor for monster who have occasionally huge window to bonk.

@@lueroifan12 valor since i use gs in this game, adept is nice but suffer huge dps losses against many monsters, and you wouldn't want to bring palicoes because they distracting, but it has few bad match ups, barioth for example is the worst with GS even when you break its claws and using adept style, shogun is not bad with valor but still not good compared to other weapons sincr the monster left little to no window and its only good hitzone is it's head, which is very hard to strike due to how fast the monster. Honestly why i use valor the most due to how easy you can build it, all you need is focus 3 (not necessarily but very helpful) and crit draw, anything else is up to you,

@@RiverOfSun2404 oh sorry. I swap between the infinite loop of X,X,A and the A finisher if I start to get out of range. The A finisher is the hard hitter of the weapon.
