Sound wise yes

I had a wave system awr cc2 model but it stop working so I was thinking about getting one as a souvenir so I should get the acoustic wave instead of the wave iv

So I had a cd inside playing and due to bad weather there was a lightning strike and for some reason my cd came spinning out and it literally shut down it didn't work after that so I removed all the guts and I hooked up the speakers directly to a yamaha rx v6a receiver it's crazy I know

But always wanted a acoustic wave so thinking about getting one from Amazon how would the sound quality compared to a sonos era 100

@@bosewaverocks My apologies, yes that’s what I meant. I have the Acoustic Wave 2 and always wondered how the wave music system 3 sounded in comparison since it’s so much smaller.

@@phuonglm86 it’s my personal unit unfortunately no. But if I come across one I can definitely let me you. You can look around and if you find one before I come across one let me know. Definitely bose only released it for a year before discounting the acoustic wave. The color definitely shaves off years of age of the acoustic 2 common acoustic wave colors black and white

@@bosewaverocks It's surprising that the Titanium series has only been on the market for such a short time. I think the engineers at Bose have done an excellent job but yeah, don't know why they stop all the Acoustic Wave Music System II, then moving to next versions in smaller size. Finding these Titanium series in the second-hand market makes sense as they are almost like the latest models with the least risk during operation and use. The white color version will yellow over time, the graphite black will gradually fade, but I believe the Titanium/Silver color will be least affected, and each time you look at it, you will feel those strange emotions. I have this same exact unit. Titanium silver with the 5 disc changer. Bought it around 2013 from a Bose store in San Francisco. I didn't know it was such a limited run in this color. I've had it over 11 years now, and it's always worked perfectly, even the disc changer. The only flaw is that the Play button on the disc changer never worked, but that's easily remedied using the remote. I kinda want the black color now after all these years lol.

Hi! That’s only for room expansions from the lifestyle system which is obsolete to set that up. All hardwired to the Bose link on the rear port the system. The only thing helpful from the settings is continuous play part after a CD is done playing or the headphone jack to make it “line in” if you want to take sound from the acoustic wave unit to another system for more sound

@@bosewaverocks thank you kind sir, wasn’t sure of it had some older version spacial type setting with the triangles and where it could be put in unison with other units or some shit.

There was a metal thing missing the o ring on the side of the seat. Needs the plastic side cover removed. The only way to resolve was to put like a pad cloth or foam to no have the metal hitting again the seat

I have the exact same issue on my 2019 XC90. I beat the door so much this morning that I cracked the Speaker cover. Can you please post a video of where the location of the side of the seat is located? @@bosewaverocks

Most other head units would struggle to be directly compatible with P3 Volvos because of 3 main issues: 1. Volvo’s MOST based security system, have to disable it by editing/hacking firmware on the CEM. Even if you bypass MOST and rewire it, the rest of the network won’t let you in, no even the amp. 2. Volvo started using Fiber optics as standard with P3 generation to bus The FM/XM tuning module ( RDR module) and the MOST Security to the headunits. Most aftermarket headunits don’t use Fiber optics to connect things, maybe to the amp but not part of the network. 3… a whole host of display based issues that will be a novel for to rear but here goes: Going with other headunits means you lose advanced functionality because Volvo uses the stereo head unit display (ICM module) to display settings from your CCM (climate Control Module) and deeper functionality like recalibrating TPMS, adjusting folding mirrors, setting detection based presets for each key, etc etc because it loses IAM.. losing IAM also means loses control over amp tuning controls, have to hope unit your installing has clean outputs and is compatible with your RDR module for FM/AM/XM radio antenna.. have to use a separate unit for tuning or have the head unit itself do it. However something to note, Volvos specially P3 Volvos are really well isolated and sealed, signal quality inside the car without an external antenna maybe problematic, have to find a way to connect to the external antenna arrays built into the car or at very least the shark antenna…
