I like to practise both fingers and wrists at high tempos. Finger techniqe is great for stamina on blast beats and wrists are much more usefull for tom fills. Also having both techniques allows for muscle rest without stopping roll. This apporach helps building open-close technique passively which I aquired recently without much practise :D

good info brother, thanks for the video. on almost 1 year of drummin and my kicks suck lol any advice for getting started with double pedal would be cool too, Idk how to setup my pedals I got a dw 3000 and not sure how to get comfortable with it, I feel like its tension is lopsided and im not sure what exercises to do with both legs. anyway thanks!
