Interesting chat regarding social media to promote our channels. I was never on X, but joined Threads, which is where I found you guys! I've been really enjoying interaction with the comic fans on there and noticed the follow through to my TH-cam channel, slowly but surely. Great podcast, love the fact it chapterised so I can jump around - you have a new subscriber!!

They'll come back to Twitter/X once they are done with their embarrassing temper tantrums. Though, IMO, social media is almost completely a net negative, anyway. YT is all I use, and even then this platform is rife with censorship.

I think through this lense, it kinda shows that media produced for GenZ is garbage by comparison. Since it was likely largely Millenials and GenX that are producing it, questions need to be asked why.

As a gen z I am offended that you would even suggest that we would prefer them over the prequels. The prequels are engrained into my everyday vocabulary

As a millennial, my favourites are the original trilogy

Millenials grew up on the '97 remaster in the cinema to get us hype for the prequels, which lead to the toy boom where Star Wars always had an aisle in Toys R Us until well past the end of the prequels. Gen Z grew up with the prequels on DVDs.

I love the original trilogy and the prequels. My brother and sister are called Luke and Carrie so my farther loved the original trilogy just as much as I do. The force awakens was passable the last Jedi was an insult and the rise of Skywalkers well I hope I NEVER have to see it ever again. I now refuse to watch ANY star wars crap from Disney.

The prequels were at least still George Lucas expanding on the galaxy he created. The sequels are pretty much copying the originals plot with fancy graphics

Am a millennial from 1984 and one of the greatest movies ever made was Empire Strikes Back in my humble opinion. Gen X aren’t as cool as they think 😉
