California is the most ecologically diverse state in the nation and faces unique challenges in a changing landscape. This channel was created to explore these ecological issues in California. All documentaries are a series of interviews with scientists and land managers, aimed at highlighting current research and management challenges. The "straight from the horses mouth" approach eliminates secondary sources of scientific information and allows the viewer access to first hand accounts directly from the people conducting the research. This channel was created by Amie Mazzoni Frazer, biology instructor, as a sabbatical project from Fresno City College and has turned into an ongoing project in science education. Videos were intended for use in educational institutions.
