Bad ass drummer.

Hi Tim, OK this is a long shot. In November 1993, one of the local news stations did a live feed in front of the Casbah. It was a piece about River Phoenixes death at the Viper room, and they used the Casbah as a backdrop for the sort of club that River might attend. We all watched it live from the bar TV as it was happening live and laughed our asses off! I've tried to find this footage, but I can't find the archived video. Are you aware of this news feature I'm talking about? It would be such an awesome time capsule and would love to get access to it. We used to hang out there all the time in those days. I would go and see my friends' band Holy Love Snakes or Grog Blossum, and some others I can't remember now, and they came to see my band Clovis the one time we played there. My high school buddy Andrew worked the door during that time. I saw Nirvana, Screaming Trees, The Fastbacks, the Melvins, Rocket ft Crypt, but mostly mediocre local bands. Anyhow, just reminiscing.

Just because you run around the stage all Wild and all wacky and you play the most basic overplayed fucking garage rock doesn’t make you anything special
