I don’t really know man!! But with this amp you can get pretty sick Ac/dc tones and even metal tones if you crank it up!

Yeah!! Even though the video it’s with a reamp box with a DI signal I recorded before, so I can dial the knobs while recording the video, and in that process you lose a little bit of that juice! It sounds really good and pushing it with a boost you achieve that crunch we all look for! Also the amp it’s for sale on reverb! I think I will regret to sell it!! 😕 Also thanks for your support man!!

@@miguelcampino They skimp on every part possible. There's no comparison between mass produced PCB board amps and all handwired amps. Especially boutique builders. They'll tailor the tone to what YOU want. Not the other way around.

Totally agree mate! But there is something on the old rectifiers that you can’t match with a newer one! It’s more like a feeling when you play than a tone thing, but anyway, thanks for your comment!!

It's like he has the presence rolled off just a tad more here. I owned a MW for a year and you can get it to sound very much like a G. Albeit for maybe some minor changes in the low end tightness.

@@tj1486 it’s hard to capture a “in the room tone” with only two mics, so for me there is a more significant tone change on them! The rev G it’s the real deal for me! But with a Multiwatt you can definitely can achieve a similar tone with some tweeking and get some awesome rectifier tones!!! Thanks for your comment mate!

@@tj1486also, as you said, the major difference it’s on low end and tightness, rectifiers over the years have tend to get muddy if you turn the bass on, I’ve had a lot of rectifiers, but on my experience, the rev g with a good boost, it’s nearly impossible to get a muddy or flobby low end, its super tight! But not as much as a mark series! Haha

Yeah, those are cool amps! I’ve had lots of rectifiers and this rev G sounds really damn good! The best I’ve played for Sure! I’ll try to compare it with a normal 3-channel and see what happens! Also thanks for your comment man! I appreciate the support!!

He switches out the entire preamp though, not sure it can be called a Mesa after that, it's basically a Hermansson amp at that point. They do sound great though! Just wish he would release his own amp instead of having to send him an existing amp to have it gutted, but that's just me..

I got mine for 490€ 2 years ago or so, nowadays the prices of any amp are rising a lot, but yeah its killer, I prefer the tsl100 over my Jcm 800 2203!! If I were you, I wouldn't hesitate to take a look on reverb to find a good offer from one of this! Regards mate!

I tried both before buying the tsl, in my opinion they both sound the same, it's a myth that dsl sounds better. Taking this into account, the two amps have a lead, crunch and clean channel, the advantage of the tsl is that you have separate channels to be able to adjust them to your liking as well as presence and reverb. In your place I would be clear that tsl is the best option, they are also usually cheaper than dsl. and finally the tsl lead channel is amazing. Anyway, if you want to listen to the amp, from this video onwards all the ones I've uploaded have been recorded with the amp.
