"Supported by Yayasan Hasanah, the Roots & Shoots Malaysia Awards (RASMA) started in 2019 with only 36 youth volunteers and a handful of NGO partners. Now, it has expanded to provide 317 youths with a platform to volunteer with 51 NGOs of their choice, and clocked in more than 30,000 hours of volunteerism.
Inspired by the positive influence of Dr. Jane Goodall and the Roots & Shoots' ethos, Tee Pee started the award programme to instil hope and encourage Malaysian youths to go beyond awareness and bring positive change to their environment and communities.
Through RASMA, Chin Wen had the opportunity to volunteer with The Datai Langkawi in 2022 upon which she was offered a job as a Naturalist at the esteemed resort, and recently promoted as The Datai Pledge Manager. As a budding conservationist, Chin Wen envisions a future where environmental conservation becomes second nature to all."

Wang Kelian, Perlis - The Forgotten Valley / Lembah yang kian hilang
Nestled within the prehistoric Nakawan Range, the village of Wang Kelian stands as the northernmost human settlement in Peninsular Malaysia. Here lies the final opportunity to refuel before reaching the Thai border and capture a fleeting image of a picturesque Malaysian kampung, bidding farewell to "Selamat Pagi" and welcoming "Sawatdee". However, there is much more to this unassuming village a...

Tinggal 150 ekor jer...
ada sebab perlis diberi nama indera kayangan. Cantik sungguh!
"rock shelter" tu nampak sama macam "rock shelter" di Gua Cha, kelantan

Tumpang tanya, bagaimana siput2 dari laut tu boleh berada di bukit tu? Adakah rock shelter tu dahulunya berdekatan dgn laut?
Cantik betul shots video ni. The narration, everything. Perfect.
kentoi ni kiranya bukan beruk standard ke eh?
Tolong buat banyak lagi dokumentari macam ni. Sangat best

Truely a masterpiece. Good effort, the footage, the story, the shots taken. Memang terbaik!

Wow, now I know perlis have such a beautiful nature. It's a waste of didn't explore. Thank you for sharing.
i have no words to describe what an amazing documentary this was, wow. from the start to the end i was connected with every part of the story and the lives of the locals. i even felt the emotions when they were talking about the loss of his friends and also about the way they spoke about preserving forest. hope this brings more Malaysians to Perlis and more opportunities for them to get more funding into their research of the forest and share with us on the beauty that is Perlis, Malaysia.
Tak sangka pulak cantik juga negeri aku ni
Thanks for showcase the beauty of the place and the people. I can only hope the visitors will not take anything from this place, except photos.
Subhanallah, this is by far the greatest Malaysian cinematic documentary I've ever watch, please keep on publishing! I'll be the first one to like! MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!!
Alhamdulillah.
Bak kata orang Barat, no parent should have to bury their children or outlive their children. Kisah Mak Milah ni sama macam kisah ibu bapa saya.
❤❤
Anyway, tq for the video.
I did not think I would cry watching this. This is the peak of beauty. I have been curious about nature and animals my whole life, but I don't have the courage to do anything that has got to do with it. I feel like I found my passion in a TH-cam video.
Terima kasih atas dokumentari
Good job! great documentary. Perlis is a wonderful place.
Sangat best dan menyentuh hati! Keep up the good works! Tahniah ❤️🔥
Masha allah Baru laa ada documentari tentang khazanah negeri perlis..slalu sgt tgk docu negara org dan bandar2 saja..terbaik min..😊❤
MashaAllah. I never knew Perlis had an uncovered history that truly surprised me. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't watched this documentary. Everything is top-notch from the beginning to the end. The locals are genuinely hospitable. A poignant quote from the Cave Guide: 'Apa guna duit banyak tapi tak tolong orang 😢' Not to forget both Arwah Ayob and Arwah Amsal, may they be granted Jannah.
Excellent documentary, world class...Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
video terbaik aku tengk hari ni terima kasih ❤
Kawan saya orang Wang Kelian😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I'm mesmerized and having mix feeling watching this. Not only great editing, the feel also makes me like one with nature. The life lesson shown in this particularly make me think what we take it for granted in our everyday life. Even small aspect such subtitle also great in delivering. I'm humbled by this documentary, this is world class production near perfection. Sorry for long comment, I'm just excited to share my view and support for this channel. May everyone stay healthy and happy.
The forgotten valley means lembah yang dilupakan. Kian hilang is a totally different meaning.
