DCS however originally I had an Innous Statement. I think when I had that the gap was much closer. I think the DCS has bought me right back up to that level again.

The first CDR is vinyl 2nd CD is Digital. The Innuos was fantastic however since having it I got back into Vinyl and realised you needed to spend so much more on digital to get anywhere close to Vinyl for a lot less money. I did get fed up with the constant upgrades Innuos kept adding, another £2k to squeeze another 2% SQ again and again. I thought when buying the Statement it was peak performance. Since buying it they wanted another £6k to get it to peak. & for the usability of Roon too. Innuos sounded better when not using Roon and there interface or though better than most its not going to compete with Roon.

@@cornwallfromtheair1503 Thank you for your honest observations! Although your source of concern regarding Innuos sounds a bit like the basic capitalist game to which all of us contribute, it’s true that selling something as being “statement”, only not to be quite so statement the year after kind of makes the term void. I appreciate your comment to be a personal consideration, because somebody else might happily trade-in the SQ percentage points of Vinyl, simply to declutter, for instance. It’s good to hear that your choice comes down to personal trade-offs!

Thanks! I think because of the ATL they can sound great in most rooms. I started with Fact 3 and went stright to 12 as they were also amazing.
