Magic, mostly. Irl though every now and then these Chinese garbage units get paired with incompatible power adapters. There is a maybe 1% chance this will fix something, and if it has worked for you remember they have made over a hundred million of these units so even a 1% chance means you got lucky. It’s not a real fix as every unit should have identical specifications within the same model. One factory is not using the same components as every other factory, for example

Why didn't you just switch the new electronic part (the piece that comes out and contains the battery) and put it in the old case that holds the original key. Done!
