That's what kills me, like why hyper analyze Pirate. Look at what Yamato did. Look at the calls he made. Literally all of the deaths are thanks to Yamatos calls and lack of actions. Yamato had VANISH up the entire time too, so he could have done so much without putting himself at risk. But he did nothing.

Look I’m not disagreeing. It’s very true Yamato did fuck all. We all know that. From what I see, This wasn’t about Yamato or pirate. It’s about the apathy, the attitude and disregard for helping his team mates that was displayed after. People recognize that a rogue could do something but it’s the mage that can make a difference. Had pirate been a hunter, no one would say anything. People want to see remorse, if even a “fuck, I shoulda helped. But gotta keep myself alive.” Is more respectful to the situation than the display we saw from this mage.

They asspulled the patrol because they were delayed in running out, If Pirate helps earlier maybe they stay and fight or maybe they leave sooner before the patrol comes.

That entire group except the priest is shit at the game, no one cares about that. It's his attitude after that is, entire group took some blame for the things they did. But pirate in all his delusion wants to claim he couldn't do anything. "Steadily" the guy couldn't get away from his group quick enough. If they wanted to run which wasnt needed but if they wanted. The play was to nova when they called to run, dogs put a slow on whoever they attack, so them being on the tank basically means he can't run from the mobs. That's why you want the root, tank takes boss and runs out with the group. Mage goes max range and slows all the adds with r1 blizzard. Gg everyone got out and you're hero.

The rogue is a brand new player who was shotcalling because the experienced player in the group was no comms running to narnia instead of helping.

@ Run in HC doesn't mean sprint for the exit, it means use cc and help the tank get out. Warriors have almost no self peel and nearly every bad pull would result in the tank dying if people didn't stay to escort them out with heals and cc. Pirate himself criticized mages for not doing enough in situations like this, and then did even less.

If you watch his POV, after his 2nd blink he looks back and doesn't see a SINGLE teammate. He turns his camera and checks the pathway on the far left. The call was run run run. Idk why they stopped and tried to fight it there. Run was the right call. Stopping to fight pulled 2 more packs.

@@bretthogan5805 The rogue was shotcalling because no one else was. There is no designated shotcaller, pirate failed to step up. Mages are taken into dungeons primarily for their cc, a decent mage can infinitely kite most mobs. The tank had aggro on the cc immune boss so all pirate had to do was stick around, rank 1 CoC/etc to lockdown the adds and everyone gets out. To be clear, the rogue was shit, he panicked, didn't use his abilities correctly, and cluttered comms. But he's a brand new player, and at least he stuck with the group to help escort the tank/healer out. If people roached like Pirate every bad pull, there wouldn't be any tanks left in the guide after a week.

Stopping to try and 'salvage' after a panicked run call like that is what gets people killed. By the way, tank didn't die, so not sure why you said that other than seeing other people (also wrong) say it

Meanwhile Yamato actively killed them by calling for them to stay and fight three packs of mobs and a boss, repeatedly saying they can do it, that it's salvagable, etc etc. Yelling for the healer to come back and fight. They should have kept moving, but they tried to fight an ungodly amount of mobs and that's the only reason Pirate was so far ahead. Pirate in my eyes did nothing wrong, the deaths are on Yamato and to a lesser extent Snuppy because Snuppy pulled two extra packs of mobs. Mostly on Yamato though. And that's ignoring that Yamato did 36 damage in that encounter, used zero CC, didn't gouge, didn't kidney shot, didn't build combo points, didn't slow anything with poisons, didn't blind anything, didn't evasion tank... Pirate had like, maybe four or five extra spells he could have cast and it would have put him at a large amount of risk. Yamato could have consistently been engaging and have been at ZERO RISK because he had Vanish. Yamato is the true rat here. Yamato COULD have changed the fight. Instead he did nothing in the fight, and made the worst possible calls on comms. I fucking despise that Soda/Xar/Ziqo/Amphy are throwing Pirate under the bus *strictly* to keep the League streamers around. It's fucking pathetic.

How does he help people? I just saw a video where he 2 TIMES BACK TO BACK, ACTIVELY DID NOT to try help 4 of his party members. All he does, is farming devs/gaming dev virgins with long hairs, with his lowlvl of ITSec / GameDev knowledge. He has not really a clue about what he talks and is full of himself.

It's called "choking" and can happen to anyone. Pirate doesn't seem like a social gamer. He plays his game like he's solely responsible for his survival, an outsider not meshing in group play with relative strangers. What about that pika rogue who cast vanish. Deliberately throwing his teammate to the wolves. Was Pirate's actions worse then Pika. Did Pirate off anyone in his group with intent?

The run call wasn't bad, it was a manageable situation, but to recover that, would have required everyone to be totally locked in. To escape and reset would have required minimum effort from everyone, but the one guy who is most important for that, the class literally designed to help others kite, says nah I'm out.

I think you just don't like pikaboo big man. Pikaboo talked about it right after and in his later videos even jokes about it because he knows he absolutely should have waited to vanish. He also realistically only killed Kali, the rest was up to soap to get out. The difference between pirate and pika is that one is funny about their mistakes and clearly knows they messed up. One is not willing to admit they messed up and is trying to convince other people that they were doomed no matter what regardless of what they did. Pika never said anything like that, he just talked about how terrible the situation was and how ridiculous his vanish was.

I'd say 99.9% of viewers have at least played WoW, some adjacent MMO, or any competitive game in history... I don't care if your main game is fucking Valorant. You're 30% HP, looking at a Sage who is looking at you. "Heal me." NEEDING to ask is crazy. Not getting healed AFTER ASKING is even more crazy. Runescape? "Oh shit I died.. couldn't do anything about it." While ignoring potions, food, equipment swapping, prayer, magics. Slay the Spire? "Oh shit I died.. couldn't do anything about it." When seeing that the boss is about to hit you for 20 damage, you have 19 hp and a block in hand. It's the idea of knowing what resources you have available and when/how to use them. Pirate knows he has mana. Pirate knows what rank 1 blizzard is, down to the mana cost. Pirate I assume knows what nova and CoC are being a level 60 mage. Pirate knows he has 100% health. Pirate can see he's a full minute away from his party. Pirate has receipts yapping about how mages can save party members. Basically every single OnlyFangs player has given their take by now and I haven't seen a single one that didn't call him a roach or a failure of a player, are they also jumping to conclusions?

I don't know how true this is but someone apparently said that pirate doesn't like using safe/evade spots and doesn't believe they're fair. Like I said I don't know if he actually said this, however, somebody had mentioned this before.

@@Minnstro Everyone should know the spots and I see people using them. Not sharing the survival tactic with a group because of their personal opinion and game style preference. That would be bullshirt on Pirate. He doesn't get to appoint himself the gatekeeper of surviving in classic. New to wow and in a dungeon for the first time. Make the wow players explain the jump spots. If the player is a speed leveler. The safe spots are memory muscle to them. If they won't divulge the safe spots or explain them. Don't be the one person clueless to the others suddenly dropping aggro and disrupted mob pathing.

Or maybe practice a jump or two. Folks don't know run also means get to a ledge. When someone screams run. You have to assume they are going to jump and aggro is going to be redirected. And if you have no intention of jumping. Aggro is going to hit you like electricity. Flowing through the weak point.

@@AmongRevenants I mean 100% they had multiple opportunities to jump onto safe spots. The only thing I would really say is that run isn't typically to jump onto a safe spot, reasoning for this is that there typically isn't a ton of safe spots in dungeons, and even less are known to most wow players. Typically all run means is that we need to work on getting out of the dungeon ASAP and as safe as possible.

If sara stopping to help was doing the right thing, then pirate should also be doing this. It is the right thing because in a hardcore run the tank takes all the risk, its only fair for the rest of the group to take a small amount of risk to help the tank escape.. and the mage can do the most. Really no ones gonna inv a mage that doesnt help people escape. Also on the last sentance.. it was only pirate who left sara to die.

Its not the play people have a problem with. Its the 'i did nothing wrong' attitude people are annoyed at. If he said 'I panicked and just bolted, sorry' there wouldn't be a problem. Up to now he's basically been saying he's an expert. To then play like this and not admit flaws, blaming everyone but himself, is possibly the most disrespectful thing I've seen in quite a while.

@@koo1770 im not defending Pirate, but they all messed up, if you cal out Run then you commit to run out, you do not stop halfway and decide to go back in to the fight. they should all humble up and say "you know what we all messed up.. it happens." fact is if they all had kept running they would most likely be alive.
