I'm surprised they let passengers onto the platform, usually at busy terminals you have to wait until the arriving passengers have got off before they announce the platform

Been to both Abbey Wood and Barking Riverside and both stations are very nice. There were plans for the London Overground to extend from Barking Riverside to Abbey Wood but apparently the DLR extension to Thamesmead is to get the go ahead and could see the DLR extend to Abbey Wood instead.
