This show was absolutely incredible. I had never heard of Khan before this set. For months after, I had all of their albums on extremely high rotation and this band ended being part of the myriad of bands that end up in my permenant listening habits. I showed my support by buying their sick hoodie, been to a couple more shows, since. But, this set was so impressive, I was converted into a lifelong fan. My younger years was filled with psychadelic rock, sludge metal, classic rock, alternative rock, grunge; and my later years is heavily prog metal, so Khan tick a lot of boxes for me. For me, the vocals has this unique blend of the psychadelic drone-like singing of John Frusciante with the occassional high-pitch energy wales you hear from a singer like Ozzie Osbourne, releasing a scream for intensity when the song calls for it. Tracks like Control; Follow; Eyes, Lungs, Arms & Mind; Orb got me hooked immediately. They have this progressive approach to time and composition with an infectious groove they bring to their sound really made Khan stand out. If you crave that heavy psychadelic rock sound that is descedent from bands like Kyuss, Khan have you covered!!!
