I watched the interviews just posted on TH-cam with James Earl Files and am now 100% convinced that he assassinated JFK. According to his very convincing testimony, David Phillips was the CIA’ handler for both he and Lee Harvey Oswald. He did not implicate Phillips in the assassination of JFK but it seems fairly certain that he was involved on some level.

Listen to the video narration up to the thirty five second mark. Can anyone tell me what Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Dick Taylor and Tony Chapman have in common? They were not only original members of the Rollin Stones, But at the time those four guys had made up the entire blues band Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys, Mick and Keith's band formed and founded the year before in 1961. The other two guys Ian and Brian had just joined them about a month or so before their debut at the Marquee Club. Now does anyone knowing these *facts* still cling to the notion that Brian Jones somehow "formed and founded" the Rolling Stones?

The "wannabe" was Brian Jones. Keith and Mick had a complete blues band months before Brian joined the Blue Boys. Jones had no musical sense for rock and roll. Keith had to teach him just about everything Brian played on stage and in the studio. At the time they formed Keith had been playing all genres of guitar music for about nine years. Brian got is very first guitar for his 17th birthday , only a couple of years before he joined Keith and Mick's band and he had only been playing a handful of American blues songs to the exclusion of everything else. There was a lot of learning going on in that first year ...But Keith was very much the teacher and Brian was the pupil.

Jazz News previewed the first Rolling Stones gig as such: “Mick Jagger, R&B vocalist, is taking an R&B group into the Marquee tomorrow night, while Blues Incorporated do their Jazz Club gig. Called The Rollin’ Stones. The line-up is: Mick Jagger (vocals), Keith Richards & Elmo Lewis (guitars), Dick Taylor (bass), Ian Stewart (piano), & Mick Avory (drums). A second group under Long John Baldry, will also be there.” Mick Avory, who later joined the Kinks, didn’t attend the gig on July 12, 1962, and no one can seem to recall if there even was a drummer - it would be six months before Charlie Watts was finally persuaded to join. Tony Chapman was rehearsing with the band around this time so he was most likely the drummer for the Rollin Stones that evening.

Bill is lying when he says things like,"Brian founded the Stones, he picked the members, he named the band and chose the music they played" Jones did none of those things and Bill is in no position to talk about any of it anyway because he was not in the band and he did not know them when they first started and Brian joined the Blue Boys. Bill's main reason he tells these ridiculous lies is to get revenge on Keith and Mick because they did not attend Brian's burial like he and Charlie did. The source for most of these stupid lies is Jones himself. Bill and Brian were roommates on the road and they were very close. Founding a band and naming a band are two different things. The Rollin Stones name was first suggested to Mick by Alexis Korner months before the change one night when Mick and Keith were sitting in with Blues incorporated at the Ealing Club after Mick sang the Muddy Waters song, Rollin Stone Blues... The entire band had discussed the name but Ian absolutely hated it and what it implied, so nothing was agreed to. When asked on the phone by a Jazz News reporter what the name of the band was, so they could promote their debut ...Brian blurted out the only name they had discussed making the new name official but Brian DID NOT come up with the name on his own as Keith has said in interviews. It makes a great story to say that Brian looked on the floor and saw the Muddy Waters album and read the name off, but the truth is that their apartment did not have a phone. They could not afford a residential phone and Jones was actually speaking from a pay phone booth on the street. There were no album covers on the floor of the phone booth. Keith likes to embellish to keep his interviews interesting and ironic. The Blue Boys were founded by Mick and Keith in 1961, well before Brian joined their band

There remains some controversy as to who the drummer was on their first gig at the Marquee. Avroy claims it was not him . Mick says he doesn't remember, but many others are sure it was Tony Chapman. Chapman was playing and rehearsing with the Blue Boys in the summer of 62. The smart money is on Chapman.

@@capitangorila4899 Do not write poppycock. Dick Taylor left the Stones because he wanted to play leadguitar and therefore founded The Pretty Things together with Phil May in 1963. At the age of almost 82, he still plays guitar and do concerts. Amazing talented guitar player!

It was right around this time that Brian Jones needed to be told that he must STOP HIS DRUGS.

I’ve read that mother Theresa wasn’t the “saint” they want you to believe. Google articles about her treatment of the sick.

If Charlie and Bill weren't in the band or at this gig, how are they pictured in the promo photo?

That promo photo is not from that night. It was a much later appearance at the Marquee. The text and the photo are cut and pasted together. They represent two entirely different events. Bill did not join until December 1962 and Charlie did not become a member until January 1963. It would be many months AFTER their debut as the Rollin Stones before Bill and Charlie became members of the band.
