It's nice with dorugrey, but your megadramon can't digivolve over it. Test it out, but be careful it doesn't brick your evo line.

Chikurimon helps a lot with the 7DL match up. The old dorugrey-yuji-hybrid otk also adds a lot of pressure for that too.

@@DigiBurst how is this combo can you explain it?

I explain it a little better in the video, but if you swing with one of your level 6s, then suspend the yuji to put bt7 dorugrey under the level 6, you get 2 security checks. Then if you attack with another digimon and that digimon is deleted in security battle, the level 6 unsuspend and you can do another 2 security checks. Then if you have another digimon or a hybrid and tamer, you can swing for game.

I really did not like calling. Calling, ruin mode, and 1 dex4 were the first cards I trimmed from the list for more consistency pieces or ways to extend with yuji. I was already running a very slim dex package, so there would be few occasions I could trigger my own save. When I would want to do that, or maybe trigger an unsuspended off the 6s, I usually had a different route to go about that, like colliding into a bigger guy at my opponent or deleting in security. That said, a calling would have won me my last match to unsuspend my dex6, but I was very unlucky with my security checks.

@@DigiBurst I really do like your suggestion to trim down the DexDorugamons because you once they're in the trash, you can recycle it all game. I always felt like they bricked up my hand. I was thinking the main way that Calling would come up is if you are out of level 5s, but it hasn't happened just yet. Maybe I'll try replacing it and see if I ever miss it. I took out Ruin Mode too because it seemed to secure a victory but I needed more ways to come back from behind.

I felt the same way about ruin mode, and I found that the 3rd sephiroth provided a lot of much needed comeback potential

Thanks for the kind words! My goal for this channel has always been to help guide new players to digimon, and I'm glad I was able to achieve that, at least for a handful of players. Bt4-5 will always be my favourite format haha

I only play 1 hybrid, so it would be quite rare to get that jetsilphy evo. Most of the time it would be a dead card in my hand

Oh I forgot the eggs!!! x4 Bt14 tokomon and 1 ex2 viximon. Tokomon is a great egg for seccon because you have so much access to healing now and keep turn.

Besides crimson, burninggrey and emperor, red hybrid doesn't have removal, so you can aggress them and and force them to play into your board, exposing themselves to your removal. Revelations will delete all their rookies if they check it at the wrong time, and will gatekeep their rookie spam pushes. Kari and emperor are also great to counter the rookie rush. Revelation -dp will also reduce the checks they can do and memory they gain when they dip under 10k. Venusmon turns off emperor effect and turns off the wider pushes. Aldamon turns off options in security, but not tamers and digimon, so herissmon put in work when it was checked. Otherwise, I just kept my security tall so his pushes couldn't check enough.

I took the video within 5 minutes of it being pulled. Returned it back to the owner, who then sold it a few days later for about $1500

The guy did say he got 4 Beelze, which is rough. Honestly have no idea how he managed to win all of them. Id question the beelze players on that front

I did question it in the video, and the player went into great detail in how he was able to exploit that match up. He played cards that directly countered their deck (Digimon emperor and Schwarz lehrsatz) and focused removing access to beelzemon's main way to beat sec con, which is beelzemon x. In doing so, the beelzemon players ended up decking out or losing access to the resources needed to do big pushes for game.

4 of the players I beat on my run ended up coming 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. So definitely no weak players there.

alot less important here but still important. 3:03 the geogreymon inherit did not see the marcus suspend (it wasnt an inheirt yet) so it doesnt trigger here but it would just trigger of the next one suspending or the rizeX evo

8:25 ironic that you said its important to get the order right ;P cause it was resolved incorrectly, the effect to trash a source when deleting in battlee and the effect to add a marcus to sec when a tamer is deleted are triggered at the same time but marcus is turn player so their effect is first

Gosh how embarrassing 🤣🤣 For some reason I misrembered that the metaltyranno effect triggered in a different window before the Marcus on deletion. When I did the commentary, I had the effects of the machinedra/chaosdramons on hand so I wouldn't get them mixed up. Everything else is from memory.

@@DigiBurst no worries, game has gotten alot more complicated from the 1 effect triggering and resolving at a time, and i def make mistakes and misplays too

Oh yeah the machinedramon player could have made a push on the previous turn to end game one, but he played the second analog man just to put in the extra pain 🤣🤣
