Authenticity Always Wins-- Ep. 60 Authenticity Wins
What happens when the pursuit of authenticity meets the noisy demands of modern society? We unravel this enigma by recounting a weekend of excitement and reflection, from the thrill of a Dodgers game to the captivating discourse between Donald Trump and Joe Rogan. As we relish in the success story of Ghost's energy drink company and their collaboration with Dr Pepper, we ponder the strength needed to stay true to oneself amidst societal pressures. Our conversation is peppered with personal tales of triumph over anxiety through powerlifting and the dedication of legends like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, who stood firm in their authenticity despite the world's expectations.
The road to authenticity is often littered with challenges, but it's a journey worth taking. This episode underscores the courage required to remain genuine, drawing inspiration from stories of pushing past childhood fears and societal norms. We discuss the 'coffee table effect' and how ingrained beliefs can be dismantled through self-discovery and faith. As we navigate the delicate balance between personal values and external demands, we delve into the profound influence of authenticity on forming meaningful relationships and the ultimate fulfillment it brings.
In a world obsessed with appearances, staying authentic is both a rebellion and a revelation. From the impact of AI-generated content to the complex dynamics of parenting, our discussion embraces the unpredictability of life's path. We tackle the societal test of conformity during the COVID-19 pandemic and explore how authenticity can be a beacon of strength, much like David challenging Goliath. Join us on this enlightening journey as we challenge norms, embrace individuality, and inspire each listener to find the courage within themselves to live authentically, no matter the stakes.
We Hope You Enjoy and if you could tap the thumbs up if it brought you value. Also share the show. The more shares, the more views we get on the podcast. Thank you!

Dimetap?! 🤮 thank you for helping me realize why I hate all things grape flavored 😂
Definitely appreciate the video. Many great points are made. It would have be better to include a professional in education. There is some mis-information here and the topics kind of get off track a bit. Thank you.

For payment the reason theaters are so expensive is because they don't make any money on box office. They don't make money on the tickets. They make money on food and other stuff like games and drinks and food and wine at this point.

The 3-pt line distance.... Whose fault is it really?!
My right hip and sciatic are screwed up right now and people tell me to take a break and I just laugh at them. I got qualifiers in 3 1/2 weeks, told my chiropractor to keep me in one piece till after the comp.😂
Your not supposed to be!! Your not here to be SATISFIED!! You ever wonder WHY everytime you sit back and reflect one iota of satisfaction in your life, the next day you are faced with a brand new catastrophe?? The aspiration of lasting satisfaction is non existent

I believe that it is NECESSARY to express trauma to heal from it. Expressing trauma doesn't make someone a victim; it opens the door to healing. The "victim" mentality is the unhealed version of a shit past. The idea of not expressing it making someone stronger is ridiculous.
You are absolutely right; it is necessary to express your trauma in order to begin the healing process. We were addressing those who consciously express their trauma with no intention of ever attempting to work through it, that is a victim mentality. Expressing trauma WITH the intent to heal is how you build mental toughness. That is what makes you stronger and gives you the ability to handle the shit life will throw your way.

This episode came at the perfect time. I, this morning, cut ties with the other businesses that i was dabbling in and now will be abke to focus on growing this brand and helping divorced men return to life more powerful and purpose driven than they ever were before. It cant wait any longer as daily men take their lives thinking they have nothing left.
Can’t deny why he’s been successful. That mindset is a steel trap.
Down here in tippecanoe county indiana schools they still say the pledge of allegiance in grade school and middle school for sure 🇺🇲

Wtf EVER A kid is literally the best weightlifting assistant I'm just saying. I'm in the process of making my first, and I refuse to stay round when I'm done. I was in the gym every day for my health. Kiddo gets to be my weight for a bit.
I hope someday everyone can understand how flawless my impression of Tyler is at the end of this episode.
Im 29 and i turn 30 this year i will never complain about growing older however when we hit our elder years most of us trade our physical strength and capable bodies for weaker strength and a wiser brain and to me thats a fair trade being young and capable is nice but to have the wisdom to match your age is a more valuable asset after all the only thing you know about a old man is they have been through more shit then you
"Taking their souls" Gan I get a hell nope.

Jake, your perspective of failure has evolved immensely since we discussed it. Mad props, man. Your growth has definitely taken over. 🎉

Times have changed. If a woman asks a man out on a date, SHE SHOULD BE PAYING. He didn't approach her, say, because he was afraid to freak her out or be rejected, but she wanted to date him, so she grabbed a set of kahunas, and asked HIM out. He shouldn't have to pay. But, round two, he asks her, yeah, he should pay. Also, nowadays we're ( est. '97) being taught not to be picked up. We drive. We don't do second locations. And we're always armed.
The ONLY FUCKING REASON WOMEN GET MORE PISSED IS BECAUSE SOCIETY FUCKIN TELLS THEM TO.
Alpha males travel in a pack. They require the validation, not respect, that fuels their bigheaddedness. Sigma males are generally separate from the group. Self isolated, quieter, but more meaningful when they speak.

I can only speak for myself here. I am a female. I respect a man more when he is physically fit, because it takes an amazing amount of discipline to keep the body fit. On the other hand, dad bods are more comfortable, in the most literal sense. Yes, they're soft, and sometimes squishy. In their defense, they are easier to hug. Beer-based bod is a completely different story. They tend to look like Lima beans.
I’m still watching this. Busy mom! Lol! But yes all my friends we have our locations. You never know when you’ll need to come get them!
