Believing in Yourself, Overcoming Excusitis, and Building Confidence: The Magic of Thinking Big for Personal and Professional Success 💭 Believing in yourself and thinking big are the keys to success. 03:14 Belief is like a thermostat that regulates what we accomplish in life. 03:14 Your mind is a thought factory that produces thousands of thoughts each day. 05:48 There are two foremen in charge of your thought factory: Mr. Triumph and Mr. Defeat. 05:57 Mr. Triumph specializes in producing positive thoughts and reasons why you can succeed. 06:05 Mr. Defeat specializes in producing negative thoughts and reasons why you can't succeed. 06:20 You can choose to give more work to Mr. Triumph and fire Mr. Defeat. 08:13 By using Mr. Triumph 100% of the time, you can produce only positive and productive thoughts. 08:26 Self-belief is the most basic ingredient in personal success. 08:45 💪 The power of self-belief can lead to personal and professional success. 09:16 Self-belief is the key difference between average and successful people. 09:16 Realizing his own self-worth and belief in himself led to a major career breakthrough. 10:54 Belief in oneself is essential for achieving success in various aspects of life. 12:01 Examples of self-belief leading to extraordinary achievements include the Wright brothers and the moon landing. 12:30 There are more opportunities for success now than ever before. 13:07 Developing self-belief involves thinking positively, recognizing one's abilities, and setting big goals. 13:35 Personal development and growth require a plan and dedication. 16:05 Following the attitudes and techniques of successful people can lead to greater respect and admiration. 17:00 This personal training program for success can bring about positive results in various aspects of life. 17:32 💡 The video discusses the concept of 'excusitis' and how it hinders success, focusing on the excuse of not having enough time. 21:00 Excusitis is a common disease that prevents success by making excuses. 21:00 One of the most common forms of excusitis is the excuse of not having enough time. 22:10 Everyone has the same amount of time, it's how you use it that matters. 23:04 Successful people don't make excuses about time, they find ways to accommodate new challenges. 25:03 Budgeting your time and striving to become a busy person can help overcome excusitis. 25:47 🏥 Health is not a legitimate excuse for lack of success; successful people have overcome health problems to achieve greatness. 26:36 Health is often used as an excuse for not achieving success or taking on more responsibilities. 26:36 Many successful people have overcome health problems to achieve greatness, such as Franklin D Roosevelt, John F Kennedy, Itzhak Perlman, and Arthur Ashe. 27:18 Physical condition doesn't need to hold you back, and for most people, health is simply no excuse for lack of success. 28:02 Refuse to talk about your health, refuse to worry about it, be grateful for the good health you have, and focus on enjoying life. 30:13 Age is not a barrier to success; there are examples of successful people who achieved greatness at both young and old ages. 31:20 Think positively about your present age and believe you can handle any responsibility. 33:16 Most people have a significant amount of productive working life ahead of them, regardless of their age. 33:42 Intelligence excuse itis blocks the road to success, but with a positive mindset, anyone can achieve greatness. 35:08 Don't underestimate your own intelligence and stop comparing yourself to others; take advantage of opportunities. 35:08 🧠 The key to success is not intelligence, but rather having a high degree of interest and enthusiasm in science, as well as a positive attitude and the ability to think creatively. 35:53 Interest and enthusiasm in science are more important than intelligence for becoming a successful scientist. 35:53 Attitude and thinking are more significant than the amount of intelligence one has. 37:32 Using brain power for positive thinking and problem-solving is more valuable than memorizing facts. 38:06 Never underestimate your own intelligence and focus on your assets and superior talents. 38:50 Belief in oneself and positive attitudes are crucial for success. 40:08 Enlarging one's thinking involves clearing away obstacles like self-deprecation and using words that create positive images. 41:07 Big thinkers create positive, forward-looking, and optimistic pictures in their minds and in the minds of others. 44:27 🔍 Learn to see the potential in people, things, and ideas, not just what exists right now. 44:40 Use big positive words and phrases to create positive mental images. 44:40 Compliment others with positive language to encourage and motivate them. 45:52 Outline plans using positive words to inspire cooperation and enthusiasm. 47:38 Train yourself to see the potential in people, things, and ideas. 48:02 Develop the skill of visualizing what can be done in the future. 51:23 Apply the principle of visualization to both things and people. 51:43 See the potential in others and help them reach their full potential. 52:09 Recognize the potential in yourself and present it in salary negotiations. 53:00 Practice adding value to yourself and others by seeing what can be, not just what is. 53:17 💡 Creative thinking is not reserved for a few special occupations, but is finding new, better, and improved ways of doing things. 59:33 Creative thinking involves finding new, better, and improved ways of doing things. 59:33 Believing that something can be done sets the mind in motion to find ways to do it. 1:01:35 To develop and strengthen creative thinking ability, one must first believe it can be done. 1:01:43 David Schwartz asks groups if it's possible to eliminate jails in the next 25 years to illustrate the importance of believing in the possibility of achieving a goal. 1:02:03 ✨ Believing that something can be done paves the way for creative solutions, while disbelief puts the brakes on progress. 1:04:57 Eliminating the word 'impossible' from your thinking and speaking vocabulary. 1:04:57 Making a list of reasons why you can achieve something instead of focusing on why you can't. 1:05:21 Becoming receptive to new ideas and breaking up fixed routines. 1:08:35 Being progressive and forward-thinking, rather than regressive and stuck in traditional thinking. 1:09:21 Devoting 10 minutes each day to thinking about how to do a better job and improve personal efficiency. 1:10:57 💡 Building confidence is an important step in the plan for personal success, and the most effective way to do that is to start by destroying fear. 1:13:25 Capacity is one tool for success, and increasing your output is key to increasing your capacity. 1:13:25 Listening is an important skill for success, and leaders tend to be good listeners. 1:15:44 Eliminate words like 'impossible' and phrases like 'won't work' from your thinking and speaking vocabularies. 1:19:02 Believing in the possibility of finding a solution paves the way to actually finding it. 1:19:02 Ask yourself every day how you can do better and strive for self-improvement. 1:19:38 Confidence means convincing yourself that your belief in your own value and ideas is real and unwavering in the face of adversity. 1:20:45 Fear can be cured by building confidence and taking action to overcome it. 1:21:08 Fear is success enemy number one and it stops people from capitalizing on opportunities. 1:21:08 ✅ Action is the cure for fear and the key to building confidence and success. 1:22:20 Confidence is acquired and developed, no one is born with it. 1:22:20 Action cures fear and indecision. 1:24:02 Isolate your fear and take action to conquer it. 1:26:39 Ideas without action are useless. 1:27:27 Successful people are active and follow through on ideas and plans. 1:29:11 🔑 Taking action is crucial for success and confidence, while inaction breeds fear and mediocrity. 1:33:10 Taking action builds confidence and helps overcome fear. 1:33:10 Waiting and overthinking can lead to missed opportunities. 1:33:21 A couple's decision to buy a house demonstrates the importance of taking action and finding solutions. 1:34:32 Acting on ideas brings mental satisfaction and peace of mind. 1:36:06 Procrastination increases anxiety and fear. 1:37:00 Overcoming difficulties and starting the day with action leads to success. 1:38:09 Writer's block can be overcome by taking immediate action. 1:38:17 Salespeople must take the first step to become successful. 1:38:46 Using mind force techniques can help overcome resistance to starting. 1:39:01 🧠 Building self-confidence through efficient management of memory bank. 1:44:29 Deposit positive thoughts in your memory bank to build confidence. 1:44:29 Withdraw positive thoughts from your memory bank to reinforce confidence. 1:45:46 Focus on the good part of experiences and forget the bad. 1:47:08 👥 Overcoming the fear of other people by putting them into proper perspective. 1:47:58 People often fear other people and feel self-conscious around them. 1:47:58 Putting people into proper perspective can help conquer the fear of other people. 1:48:09 The speaker gained a sense of worth by realizing that others were just as confused and scared as he was. 1:48:28

I am currently reading the paperback book, and I plan on listening to this while I am laying down at night to go to sleep. Figure since I have some issues winding down my mind for sleep, that listening to something positive will help me focus on things that are worth focusing on. 🙂 I've sent multiple screenshots of the book to family and friends as well, it really is great. Thanks for the post.

If the Bible is dumb then so is Kung fu cause that’s been passed down also for hundreds of years it’s all collected knowledge passed down over the years of time tested philosophies and ways to be that strengthens you both physically and mentally. He pick and chooses like a kid at dinner time. If we don’t always have respect for what made us great then we will inevitably lose our greatness. That’s like saying well I use to eat healthy but now I don’t have to anymore. Now that shit is dumb. I don’t care who you are. Keep it real wail you still have breath in your lungs.

However the more I go through those, I enjoy the feeling of having pushed my way through those problems and coming out the other side with those issues now behind me, not in front of me. Plus now armed with the knowledge that I can handle that again if it reappears. Appreciated listening to this, a lot.
