@@buffalobillh Agreed, I do love that they are a part of our musical tradition. There is nothing quite like the Whit Friday March Contests and all of the other march contests that echo it. Something very unique about it all.
@@JonnyShaw4 We participated in the online competition during Covid, but being there in person has to be a special experience. Hopefully, I can visit and see it in person in the future.
@@buffalobillh absolutely. There are foreign bands that come over every year to take part, usually Europe but there was a band from Japan once. If you are ever around give me a shout, I only live a few miles from it all.
