    Just the info i needed. Thanks! This job isnt so difficult, but a little pain in the ass. I had issues removing some lines/nuts from the ABS unit. So i neded up removing the entire abs unit out which is held by 4 bolts on the outer frame. Pretty easy to remove. Then just two clips for the electrical stuff on the abs unit.

    Thank you, finally found a video that includes the important step from the factory shop manual; install the right side bearing first, completely seated. The left side bearing is not completely seated. This allows the spacer some room for movement.

    Hi, i have a gsr600 2008. Battery is not charging, the voltage regulator was burnt so the garage replaced it, I was told that there was also a peak from the alternator(dynamo) around 150v measured, so they replaced that too with a new piece of wiring, we tried multiple batteries. The grounding to the voltage regulator was also not that great to the frame and the connector so they fixed that too. And the wiring does not have any weird resistance. That garage does not know what else to do and they want to quit. Do you have any tips for me what else it could be, or what I can try.(for example, disconnecting al the turn signals.. idk)

    These are quite good tutorials. Your idea, your construction is good, but not perfect. The "gap" at differential lock is very inelegant. The xl motor is much too strong for the small gears, they're slipping all the time with horrible sounds 😂

    I bought a Chinese stator and reg and did a fan mod on mine. That thing stays so cool a lot cooler than a mosfet. I’m interested to see how long it lasts with this added cooling. As they die and fail due to heat.

    • @kevinpeterson4098
      @kevinpeterson4098 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same here, I bought the 50 EBay stator and rectifier. So far it's held 14.5 for the last 3,000 miles. Hope I get through the summer without any trouble.

    • @kevinpeterson4098
      @kevinpeterson4098 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well it died yesterday! Going to save up for Rick's or Rm. I need something with a good warranty. So much for my gsxr 600. I need to fix it and sell or trade it in! I'm done with the stator and rectifiers!

    • @ChristianParis2001
      @ChristianParis2001 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fix it right and you won't have that problem. Relocate the rectifier and use a Mosfet rectifier. And use a ricks stator and you won't have a problem again. If you keep using cheap Chinese parts your bike will continue to have the reliability of a cheap Chinese bike. You are only as strong as your weakest link.

    Hey man I loved this video!! I have a K6 GSXR600 also and the stator went out so I'm going to replace the stator and regulator myself, my plan is to relocate the rectifier in the airbox. This video definitely gave me the confidence to complete the task, as I'm already handy and would prefer to do simple fixes on my bike myself. You were super in depth and specific great stuff!! Thanks for the video!!

    Son of a bitch ! The front left is leaking right at the connection . I think that one goes straight back to the abs unit which imo is useless and a pain to work with because if bleeding after the lines are replaced .

    I have a question so on the other side of that wheel where you left just the bearing, no seal goes into that side what covers that side? The hub for the sprocket...just place it in that and call it the day? Correct me if I'm wrong

    • @VenganzaCayey
      @VenganzaCayey 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I ask becouse I bought ball bearing for the rear I got 3 bearings and 3 seals but one of the bearing goes into sproket and the other 2 goes to the rim ok but the seals I have 3 one fits right on the other one I placed it in the sprocket but one of the seal is like bigger than the sprocket and the wheel there's no way to put that thing in there was that and error or does it go somewhere else to my understanding they should all go in normal correct with a little push

    • @cameronsegar
      @cameronsegar 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VenganzaCayey same problem, did you find the solution? One dust cover went in the brake side of the wheel and the larger dust cover on the drive hub bearing but there’s no dust cover for the bearing inside the wheel on the drive hub side
