I can't help but be blown away every time I watch your decoding videos. It's amazing to see how seriously the big brands take themselves and the market. The numbers you shared about the different communication channels and the sheer volume of posts that went out to reach over 100 million on the opening weekend really showcase their deep understanding and appreciation of the power of marketing. I feel embarrassed thinking about how disappointed I was over just one paid 7 days ad that did not give me the return I was expecting... Hey Kubi this was so insightful, I now have a fresh perspective on how to market entertainment. I am in Kenya working on releasing a debut album that is afro centric and tells our story as bantu Africans in a year with pop infusion for it to be relatable globally. Girl what?!a gap in the market? Did you not see the endless complaints of people stating we don’t need anymore hair lines? So many celebrities are selling haircare and skin care … there is no gap.
LOL I love your passion. But she has already earned the #1 spot on the US Beauty Leaderboard in February, 2024 out ranking well established brands like Sephora, Rare Beauty, Pat McGrath, Milk Makeup, YSL, and more. So she filled a space for some consumers, for sure! But....I do agree that the afro hair industry is becoming consumed with new entries...but those who understand the science of marketing, will win.
@@KubiSpringerTV that is truly nothing as it only has something to do with attention earned by influencers. So she had just launched her product so that makes sense. Also people pay for influencers to do this! However, It has not made the list since her launch though! So that says a lot! What I’m saying is that… those celebrity “haircare lines” aren’t filling any gaps! Everyone sees it as greedy. And no one actually sees that type of product as a viable for the long run. An actual beauty mline.. yes… but a shampoo line.. no
