This is really a wonderful talk. The Dark Night can be really difficult, and the way you have described your own experience gave me sustenance during my ten year ordeal following the shift into awareness. I also reached a point of saying OK, maybe I'm irreparably damaged, I have to accept that. Then one day - the Dark Night ended. And as you point out, that does not mean that suffering disappears or that life's problems go away. For me it was an internal event. Mother Mary placed her hand on my head and told me that she is my mother, now and forever. And she is here whenever I need Her. My entire reality changed almost overnight. This was totally unexpected, and far outside the normal range of topics discussed in satsang. So, for anyone in the Dark Night, just know- God will save you. Just ask. God bless us every one.

So this woman has abolished pyschological time - no attachements to family, friends, no religiion, no country, not part of any group whatsover, time has no meaning, there is no tomorrow except the tomorrow of the train timebable. She is totally alone but without loneliness, living in a timeless state. A remarkable achievement to say the very least. Few (outside of several hundred thousand TH-camrs) are ever believed to have accomplished such a feat. Or she is in the guru business and has a partner, family and friends to which she is attached and would struggle mightily to live without. Be a light to yourself, you won't find light in anothers darkness.

Buddhism learns us partially how to die before we actually die. We are all ashes. Still. Siddhartha was a great soul.

Meditation though a wonderful peaceful and enlightening experience is not enough, and not lasting. Meditation will not change your character because your character is comprised of beliefs, habits, programming, and conditioned behaviors. Meditation plus knowing thyself will improve your life.

CONSCIOUSNESS modulates itself to form the mind. This one, being finite, cannot directly access CONSCIOUSNESS which is infinite, unlimited and is not an object. The mind, although paradoxically formed of CONSCIOUSNESS, can only know objects. Where is that Love, Peace and Happiness supposedly coming from CONSCIOUSNESS ? In all this, human beings, by their nature, yearn for love, peace and happiness. However, that longing causes him suffering. So he creates religious associations, politicizing that yearning.

Beautiful! Tantra can be a way, not the objective.

Awareness aware of awareness sinks back into itself “stays at home” “objectless” to know itself. So simple and as experienced. 👍🏼

Speaking in religious terms, what is understood by enlightenment or achieving that PEACE and HAPPINESS is a GRACE that is given to us not in a mechanical way after practices,meditations,prayers and desires to achieve it, but I would almost say "miraculously" from above (UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS). That is why only some people, usually mystics and some people from the East, have achieved that GRACE. The rest of us human beings have to continue to desire it and investigate it and be lucky enough to receive that GRACE at some point in our existence.

Hopefully you can invite those people too. As far as the satsang. It is indeed a misconception that the world is an illusion or maya as advaita vedanta or ACIM states. How can anything be an illusion or unreal when there is only the real; when all this is Self? No. That cannot be possible. What is possible is that Self in its deep seated desire not to be by itself (see also Genesis 2:18) veils itself as manifoldness for companionship aka love. The true meaning of the word Maya means Love; not illusion by the way. See the correct Nepali definition.
