I miss the dunes next to the Atlantic ocean just outside of Swakopmund going towards Walvis Bay.

I wonder if anything nests in the dead fronds of the palms. And can your surface water source handle all this development?

Would have been good to identify that bird species. Its beak shape says it eats insects, and I did see insects scooting around... he might eat seeds and plant material too, both would provide moisture in the food chain. And what is the altitude here... is everything at sea level, or is this higher? His voice reminded me of my local meadowlarks.

Great to hear that. I already follow Yr channel showing properties at coast. Good news is also that the ROADS AUTHORITY indicated that a contractor will soon start with that 30km upgrade of the coastal road from Swakopmund - Walvis Bay and is expected to be completed in 2025. They upgrading it to 2/1 lanes in some places where sand dunes are so close to sea and dual in some places where dunes are far from sea. The design I saw includes pedestrian /bicycle lanes. I understand the same contractor busy with the extension of dune 7 dual road to Walvis Bay airport is one already appointed to do phase 2 of coastal road. The coastal road view is too beautiful but was too tiny and congested at times. We shall travel thru Yr lens.

Truly appreciate your time and effort for your content. I’ve had this thought to relocate or rather have a second home in beautiful Namibia , so I’m still in my initial phase of researching before I actually travel down there this summer. I’m interested in towns along the coastline between Swakopmund, Henties Bay or Walvis Bay. Once again thank you for your vids, they’ve been truly helpful.
