I make 3D-Printing, CAD, and PCB Videos.
I made a custom Keycap on my CNC-Router
I will show you how I (and you too) can make wooden Keycaps on a standard CNC router/Mill.
I would really enjoy it if you subscribed to my channel, as I put a lot of effort into this video.
If you didn't like this video, please give me some feedback why, so I can improve.

Amazing video!
This is more like an Evelyn Woodhead speed tutorial. You have a lot of good information, but if a person can't keep up then you've, for the most part, wasted your time creating the video. Don't give up your day job. Just saying.
Hello. Can you tell me how to choose an arbitrary orientation for my track in kicad, for me it is always at an angle of 45 degrees and I want it to be at an angle of 90 degrees, is it possible to do something so that I can change the angle of the track over time? work, for example, like in Sprint Layout when you press the space bar?
I am not sure if I show this in the Vid, if not, sorry. You can‘t chose an arbitrary angle, only 45 and 90 degrees, but you can set points your track goes along by clicking. Kicad will always choose the shortest path between the starting or last point, and if that is a straight line with a 90 degree ang, it will do that.
@@Zipties_and_Ducttape Hello, I read the documentation about KiCad and it turns out that to change the angle you need to click on slash or counter plus slash
@maxichannel9080 I didn’t actually know that, thank you very much. Most of the time you won’t need it, but nice too know
@@Zipties_and_Ducttape Please, enjoy it dear engineer
LOL, you speed through the most important part
Helped me in my project =)
Thank you so much for a great tutorial. I designed my first PCB today.
Brother, how to choose a appropriate footprint to a symbol...?
I might have not made that clear in my Video, sorry for that. Depending on the components you have or are planning on using you can search for the right footprint. If you don’t yet know which exact components you are going to use , you can just do a quick google search for an appropriate component
How to change UI to dark?
In the settings, by default it is set to your OS selection
Good job explaining
Mabe make a slower version....If we were at your level we could understand it.
Olá qual versão KIcad você está usando?

Looks good. Maybe try round corners. It makes the baords look nice.
I might do that, good idea
This is a good start but you;ve missed an essential part of the process and one that usually stops new users. The electrical rules check is so important for creating PCBs. It prevents basic errors. I hope you make more videos on this topic as you have a good, clear voice and deliver the information well. Great job!
Nice tutor. But skip the background music. Some may like it, someone, like me, finds it annoying.
Thank you for the feedback, i might try to leave the music away in a future vid and see how many people want it back.
What fillement do u use
95A TPU, any brand should work
Nice Print
jeez you're really underrated if you can make that. New sub 👍
Looks good but if you printed it upside down, you can have the texture of the bed on the faceplate instead of the smoothing done by the nozzle, to make it look a little bit better. 😊
Yes, i know, but i like to have the little lip that holds the display up to come out a bit, i think it looks nice
good luck!
This song is so bad💀 I’m glad that I am the first comment you read🤬
If you don't like it you can just scroll past the video, no need to get angry here
I'm sure you're brilliant, but the MOST important part about this video is how to design the hinge, and you timelapsed that part.
Thanks for the compliment and yes, you are probably right. I think this is one of the worst tutorials i ever made although it got the most views out of all my videos. I probably shouldn't say this under my own video though :)
Coole Musik. Gratuliere 🎉
Very clever and useful
Have you actually tried to print this? I really don't think it will work - IMO that 'bridge' is going to be impossible to print, even if Cura will make a slice for it... but you don't actually need it to go all the way through, just make little cone shaped bits either side.
If have printed a very similar model with different dimensions, but yes depending on the bridging capability you might have to reduce the bridge length. I know about the pin hinge. If you think that is a problem you can either use a different hinge design or make multiple short bridges.
How would I make a hinge that isn't printed in place?
There are a lot of ways to make a hinge. A easy way I show in this vid: th-cam.com/video/z14CEm_Gn44/w-d-xo.html, or just search on youtube :)
Thanks!
Cool,
WHAT WAS THE POING OF USING A PS4 CONTROLLER USE A XBOX CONTROLLER
I have a ps4, and if you are going to say i should have bought a xbox, i got the ps4 for free. But a xbox controller would work too.
@@Zipties_and_Ducttape oh how did you get it for free?
Well my bad sorry
Material? Lets see a close up of the layer lines
Nice transitions
Good for you
This would be great filmed slower with a few more explanations for the onshape learners who are your most likely audience and following along. Just a kind suggestion 😊. Thanks for your efforts.
I'll try to take that into account in future tutorials. You're welcome :)
Agree, great tutorial but a little to fast for a newbie. Thanks I also tried to mirror the hinges, that works too but what is the most proper way ?
whatever you think is best
The background music made it difficult to hear your soft voice. Also, the pace was too fast for me, as a beginner.
C'est un truc de dingue.
