Savon de Marseille
Here is my first video recording for soap making process. This time I tried to add pink clay and essential oils and found that it really accelerates trace.
Hopefully the final results meet my satisfaction😊.
Soap Recipe:
Olive Oil 360g
Coconut Oil 90g
Palm Oil 50g
Lye 72g
Distilled Water 109g
Other Ingredients:
Lavender Essential Oil
Kashmiri Rose Essential Oil
Pink Clay
Flow:
1)Prepare all ingredients.
2)Mix all the oils in one bowl.
2)Wear gloves, masks and goggles when preparing lye.
3)Go to a well-ventilated area and pour lye to water for lye solution.
4)Keep stirring lye solution until temperature cool down to 40°C ~ 50°C.
5)Pour lye solution into the oil mixture.
6)Keep stirring and add clay or essential oil if required until trace.
7)Pour into mold and put them at a cool, dry and airy place, avoid direct sunlight.
8)After 48 hours, unmold and cut the soap if required.
9)After 2~6 weeks (curing time depends on the oils and environment of the storing place), the soap is ready to use.
