Thank you so much for posting this. I have two of Laura’s patterns and kits, and haven’t been able to understand her underlay technique. I took a workshop with her several years ago but this technique wasn’t used then. Your demo is easy to understand and now I can’t wait to get started!!!! Thank you!

Steam a Seam 2 is the product used for backing the motifs.

Hi Lisa, I am looking at doing some fabric collage and your video is so helpful, I can see how having a stack of motifs sitting next to you of a night and doing most of the cutting in one go is a great way to get it all done. Thank-you for explaining that it’s ok to keep the background fabric on, I’m not big on too much fussy cutting, and you have shown how easy it can be to get your collection started and then the fun can begin.😊🙏

What are you using for tracing? Nothing seems to stay and show on the slick side of the SAS.
I use a soft, mechanical pencil.
Can you give us written pattern how what the sizes are for each??? thanks
