Be nice to have an image of the trike at the end...
true
Ambos rompiendo, material desgastando y dinero derrochando. ¿ Divertido? Sí. Etico? No. Marinero? No!
The driver of the orange truck is a idiot ! 😁😁
Not really an accomplishment. We used to bury 40' racing monos on my Hobie 16.
Except that here the Dragonfly has comfortable bedroom, toilet, shower, kitchen with oven......and we were headwind
This is a beautiful boat! Great videos! Quick question, I have heard these boats being built of “s-glass” instead of traditional “e-glass” laminate. Do you this to be true?
We had a marvelous time with the boat for 18 years: fast, easy to maneuver single handed always, and comfortable enough. But I can' t answer your question as I even don't know the difference between e ans s glass. I never got any issue with the hulls.
22 kn very nice
Do you still sail a DF? Are you reachable to discuss your experience?
Not anymore, but you can contact me if you wish.
Do you have an email address? Or an alternative?

Pardon pour le retard! Merci pour l’adresse e-mail. Je vous contacte rapidement! Un grand merci! Fabrice
the pogo 50 is a fat ass boat that is not very fast upwind.
sure
Vous avez quoi comme bateau ?
Bonjour, à l'époque un Dragonfly 920 extrême, un rêve
Hi Xriss It wasn't mine. I had a stunning faster Casamance 46 at that time, I think
hi clarivoile...what happend to your helios 42??...is she still out on the high seas
It wasn't mine. My friend sold her few years ago
Petit bateau Petit problème 👍🏻🤙🏻
Giggle giggle Wink 😉 😜 🤣 Every meeting is a boat race !!! I love it !! I can't wait to see my own Trimaran plans come true. 🌞🌴⛵️
Lucky man waiting a dream, is a dream
ja ja ja ... bad boys
Poetry in motion, well done.
What a joy to sail such a fantastic boat.
you're right. and still comfortable
Smoke ‘em. Uh spray ‘em.
Next time in lee, pls 😉
Behind this sails area it won't work obviously
As any sailor knows. Two sailboats sailing in the same direction is a race. Own a tri and you’ll just turn around and sail in the same direction. Show off! : )
Thanks for playin'!
Exciting!!!!
thank god for the mute button, that music was terrible
real shame about the stupid music you added. otherwise would be a great clip
I thought that this stupid music rhythm and sound matched quite well this chaotic vid. Sorry for that. You can still switch off. Happy new year
With my corsair trimaran I visit other sailors by sailing up and saying hello then doing a circle around them and going on my way. One friend asked me not to do that because it was scaring his mother. Its good to sail a trimaran.
I saw a video recently about a transatlantic team that said sailing is one of those things where an amateur can win against accomplished professionals
I would agree, but you can't omit that this is when they are sailing on same type of boat In this case, the boats are so different that you can't really compare the sailors
Adolescent j’en rêvais! J’en connaissais toutes les caractéristiques. Maintenant je navigue en First 24...
Under these conditions, a windsurfer would have the easiest time coming into to port.
Buenisimo....!!! Donde es?
esta en Francia en La Rochelle
Great. But what's wrong with the musical taste of youtubers???
As far as I'm concern, that's not the type of music I like. However, when I choose a music, I try to find something that match the spirit of the vid. In this particular case, I think it works.
No no, it doesn't 🙂
Music sucks
You can mute anytime
Opinions are like assholes everybody's got one and most of them stink
Very nice one
Multihulls rule the seas.
Even if no wind?the speed is 5knots?
Yes, this trimaran is amazing. With the excellent North Sails 3Di.
the thing is i saw a video of a dragonfly capsize, and the condition weren't that extreme
Which one?
@@clarivoile a 28 sport. And same story with the 1200
@@voilemontagne I'd be happy to see them. Just need facts no story. Thus, we could analyse them to understand, and then and only then, we would comment. If I remember, a 28 capsized during Isle of Wight race, with full sails up and spi under gale force wind.... A 35 capsized just out the harbor in netherlands I think or Denmark, but he forgot to lock the arms..... And so on
@@clarivoile th-cam.com/video/8u0wP1mP7v8/w-d-xo.html and www.boatdesign.net/threads/dragonfly-39.58272/ in fact, in the future, i will be interested into buying a fast boat, but capable as well in rough seas, to being able to cross the north atlantic or things like that, solo or in couple. I love the ideo of the trimaran for their performance, but to sail around the world, you might want a tri that is big enough to have enough roomspace inside to host 2 people. For example, the 32 will be the minimum. But a 32 is as expensive as for example a RM 1180 (slower but much more suited to long fast passage) or something like that. If you have experience with tris, what could you say for the tris instead of a quite fast very solid monohull.
@@voilemontagne It's possible to capsize any boat. A trimaran is significantly harder to capsize than a catamaran, which is much harder to capsize than a monohull.
just wondering where this was filmed? That bridge in the background seems familiar?? One of my favourite boats .. still saving£
On a beach "Sablanceaux" Ile de Ré, close to La Rochelle FRANCE
You should have flipped the friendly bird with a big *hit eating grin. Seriously though, apples and oranges the tri had over 90' in the water as opposed to just 50' on the mono. Not a fair fight, lol.
That's right but as a centipede not all of them touch in the same time
@@clarivoile True but it's still two different animals. Mono's will never be able to challenge Tri's. That was just mean though really. Love it!
@@ddouglas1653 Obviously
Looks like a happy place to raise children! I love it!
Yes it was! Thanks
he said f-that and pulled out the jib :)
he is reefed and only running the stay - awesome though
Hit the mute button and replace it with Stan Getz O "Morro Nao Tem Vez" - th-cam.com/video/-HI9nqyy8qk/w-d-xo.html
Why the big slow motion section? The appeal of this boat is that is goes FAST.
I thought it just looks nice.
Nice video. Awesome Dragonfly. I WILL have a 35 Ultimate one day come hell or, dare I say, high water. :)
Lucky man, enjoy it
