Wow this hits hard , at 60 1/2 , and realizing im 2/3 gone , i have lost some great ones , and more are sliding out soon enough . Sad to think of the ones who molded , mentored , and shown me the way , respect , love , and honor sometimes is not enough , i cherrish what moments , smiles with those still here , i only hope i do them proud . Cheers my friends , and those departed , see you soon enough , please have a cold one waiting .
Thanks for sharing that. When I wrote this song, I had no idea that it would impact so many people, and I hope in a good way. I truly believe that music should be relatable, honest and make feel something. When folks hear my song, I hope they say, "Ya me too".

@@rustyhildermanI've got a 42 knuckle All original Dad bought it shortly after he came back from the second world war he's been gone for almost thirty years now but tougher than old dry rawhide it was milsurp when he brought it and still is I'm a old man myself now I served in country people's republic of Vietnam for six tours with the Marine corps and I have the bike in my living room still got the WW2 paint and all original might sell it someday I never had children because of injuries in Nam nobody to leave it to remember Dad riding it in the fourth of July parade until he got to the point his old uniform wore out and nobody really cared and the bike was parked I've made sure it still turns over but I'm sure it needs work

Outstanding brother, just found you here. I ride alone mostly now with everyone else gone, but with Jesus and our brothers and sisters always with us, we are never truly alone.,thank God and thank you for this beautiful somewhat haunting ballad. God bless you Rusty 🎅🤠🙏
Thanks so much!
@@rustyhilderman yes sir Rusty, you're welcome. Don't know if you come down to lower 48 here, but will look for ya sometime if you still ride Harleys too. I'm the last one of 5,born Dec '55,and feel like the last of the Mohicans sometimes, but as I said, we'll be unbroken soon. Hear trudeau is outlawing hand guns so I probably won't be allowed over to ride in Canada, everyone's loss 😂. Love all your material and ride free and safe pardner. God bless you and yours 🎅🤠🙏 Also alone reminds me of my Nam Vet brother Herby and I the miles we rode together, be 9 years this year I spread his ashes in Oregon off his ultra and rest in Pennsylvania in 2018 in memory of. Good night Brother,I'm holding the tsunami at bay 😥

Only way to ride. My bob.
