Thank you Pastor Hutch. I trust you are enjoying a warm welcome as you come as the new pastor. I am a former member. I moved on in 1990 to serve a rural CB church in eastern Oregon where I served almost 12 years. You all remain on my heart. My wife and I have many friends still in the church and in Lebanon. Since retiring I have had time to write and one of the books, available online, has to do with the subject of your next message, the churches in Revelation. Pastor I’ve waited three years to find this church led by this preaching and although I only found it five months ago it has been a lifeline to hear the gospel preached in love and truth. I know God is faithful and will find another faithful man of God to proclaim His Word to His church to equip the saints. Nevertheless I would like to tell you that I’ve so appreciated your preaching in James and your bold singing and leading us in praising the LORD. Father please continue to bless Pastor Kendall and his family in truth and in love. Bless him wherever he is going and continue to fill him with Your Spirit in Your wisdom and Your grace so that he will continue to be blessed by You and that others would be blessed by how You have given him Your Word to proclaim to Your people. Father I also ask that give him the joy of Your salvation and that many would have their ears opened and their hearts would be prepared by You to receive Your Word of eternal life. Bless his family in Your good mercy and grace that his children and grandchildren for generations would be men and women of God. Thank you Father that You have given him to us for a time and for his faithfulness to You to give us Your whole counsel. He has been faithful to preach the hard truth especially in the book of James: I especially thank you Father that you showed me myself and I will not forget. Please LORD Lord bring us another man of God of Your choosing. A faithful servant of Your Word to build Your church in Spirit and in truth. I confess I haven’t loved You or Your Word or Your church or my brothers and sisters as I should. Lord please forgive me and remember us that we need a Pastor that loves You and Your Word and Your church above all else and bring him to us. We want a bold preacher who’s desire is to obey Your Word. Thank You for Your great faithfulness and the blessings that You have given in Christ to us. Thank you for everything You have done for what You are doing and what You will do. In Christ’s strong name I ask all of this. Amen
