But as soon as all the cream, mousse, gel bottles are empty I'm going to use "only" 3 styling products which are: lighweight cream, aloe vera gel and suavecita pommade ( to break the cast) I have realized one day ( when I was in those lazy days) that less products worked wonderfully on my low porosity 2c/3a/3b hair♥ lovely video! My hair seemed less curly after finger coiling. It looks cute but not as curly and by the end of the day it looks straighter than if i don't finger coil.

I'm sorry. But to de-influence you'd need to go right back before the denman and use conditioner no brush Styling and a hold item. That's really going back ❤🎉❤🎉

So much oil can cause buildup. Have you noticed that?

One influencer recommended brush styling only the top layer. Then you get some definition where it's really seen but the underneath pumps up the volume. I also really scrunch diffuse the roots first upside down. Then when about 80 or 90%dry I root clip, hit a few up top and rinish air drying. I also found that plopping g before diffusing gave me more volume. I put all hair on top, not the typical plop you see where the crown is flattened.

Doing this with my bestie this year tysm!!

My best voluminous results are from raking my hair upside down in the shower. No parting. I go over my whole head twice (sometimes 3 times) criss crossing my hands. I then take a brush just to comb my "bang" or "fringe" area and the outline down in the front. This is while my head is upside down. Before I do that I add Curl Keeper Original styler liquid. Very light product. Then I scrunch. After that I apply Volume Foam by Curl Smith mostly at roots on top of my head (leftover foam on rest of hair)then I apply a strong hold gel on the length of hair. I wet plop but lately been dry plopping BUT I always micro plop to form the curl pattern some more. Another rake and shake method is to part your hair like you did, take a section, brush to smooth then rake and shake the section. That works for me too but the shower method is the easiest and gives me most volume. I do however get bored and do brush styling. I have so many brushes and products. It's from watching curly hair influencers LOL> btw, my hair is low density and fine.

The wonky curls in front, re wet just those pieces and brush style.
