One can certainly have an encounter with a gun. Listening to countless hunters tell of their experiences while hunting is always interesting to hear. Their experiences range from seeing something going through the woods, taking the hunters kill, becoming aggressive throwing rocks, screaming, or throwing branches or even knocking down trees. In all the accounts I have listened to that involve hunters, in a lot of cases it is typically more aggressive. Reasoning behind this thought is that they know that the hunter is looking to take something from the woods, deer, rabbit, roughed grouse, squirrels etc. Therefore, I think that they see the hunter as intrusive and taking from them and their food supplies. Indicating a more aggressive and "push you out" type of behavior. I also think from hearing from countless hunters is that the Sasquatch also knows that these hunters carry firearms of which they have been witness to watching a hunter take down game. Also I think they have been shot at and know when a hunter pulls up their firearm what that means. So, yes, as I had mentioned in the podcast that if a hunter comes across a Sasquatch, a lot of the times the hunters experience is of a more aggressive experience.

Have been up by "The lake" for past few yr. Have seen the occasional black bear up here, lots of turkeys, of course deer. Have yet to see elusive Sasquatch though

This is about as good as psychics that the amazing Randy debunked regularly for decades on televison, psychics who were merely con artists, magicians. I guess what amazes me most is that there are people that will believe this stuff as they love to live in fantasy land. But, you're in my backyard now. I live here. My fourth great grandfather's sister was married to the first supervisor of the Town of Northumberland where Gansevoort is located, Col. Sidney Barry, elected in 1798. What is most terrifying is to think that some of these believers will vote for democrats. Your claim of about 10,000,000 unnamed species is nonsense of course. As of 2022 there were 2.16 million named species and you claim there are 5 times that number of unnamed of which where might be a handful of mammals included, some fish, reptiles and bacteria in the largest group, but surely nothing 7 feet tall living amongst the houses since the beginning of time. I know you really can't believe it, just want to make some money, what I would call an entramanure. These are campfire stories suitable for Boy Scout camp. No hunter has shot even ONE, found a dead one in the road, found a carcass or body part. Hmmmm. But, they are everywhere.

No hunters have shot one. No one has run over one with a car. There are no carcasses or body parts found and yet these things are everywhere. Nope again.

@JamesComstockCages if you knew half of what you think you know you would be on to something. There's a report on the bfro of a young lady driving back to Vermont on route 8 in speculator area that insists she hit one with her car. She had no interest in bigfoot at all. But she knew what she saw and reported it as such. Claims it was carrying a deer when she hit it. Totaled her car. But I know the game,you're a Hunter/trapper. Never seen one so Noone allowed to see one or claim they have or be interested in it. Maybe ,you're not the hunter you claim to be,huh?

I've lived in the Adirondacks my whole life and have seen and heard many signs with one sighting. You need to find respect for things you don't know and learn some manners.

Interesting part about Bigfoot encounters is that almost all happen in a populated area and the witnesses that had the experiences are sharing something personal. Most folks that hike and hunt say the same - mostly because they are not looking or open to possibilities.

Mr. Snyder. I don't drink. I think that if you look into the encounters you will realize that with a degree of possibility that something like this could and would. Just like a bear would. Please don't discount what I experienced you were not there. Thank you for your understanding.

You have no clue what you’re talking about,I worked and hunted remote for the last 30 years, and only 4 years ago finally had a sighting,before that I had no clue they existed. I don’t misidentifying game animals,it was part of my job. My sighting took place within 300 yards from development. That was a truly arrogant and ignorant . if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all.People are truly traumatized by there experiences and they don’t need someone talking out of the side of their neck making them afraid to share because sometimes that’s the only thing that helps them deal with the situation.

I've roamed deep in the Adirondacks for well over 50 years. As did my father and grandfather. That's over 150 years combined. And none of us has ever seen or heard of this mystical creature. You all can believe what you want. Probably none of you have been where I've been in the mountains. Hunting, fishing, trapping is a way of life for me. Believe me! If such a creature were to exist in these mountains, I would know about it. I've seen every other creature here. Why not this one? C'mon.....when you have proof, not hearsay or hyperbole, come see me then. Or even a dead one? Unless the never die???Until that time, you can all fear the nothing in the mountains.

Charlie, look into the NPT or the Northville Lake Placid Trail. If one looks at potential migrations, they tend to be in and around September. It would be easy for you to say such a thing. However take into account how many days were you there? 5 to 7 days out of 365. I was just at the right place at the right time. Just because you camped there doesn't mean that it couldn't happen. Just like a hunter that has hunted for 30 or 40 years with nothing to note of but it took only one day for that hunter to experience something or see something that they has impacted their lives and how they hunt. Look into hunters accounts and I think you will be enlightened.

@AdirondackBigfoot-ys5sm ok I am all for Bigfoot just not in lake placid. My family has been there for generations and trust me something like that would definitely be mentioned in town or from older generations and never heard a peep about it. And I mean never have I ever heard talk of Bigfoot in lp this was the first seems odd a local would never have heard a thing about something in r back yard
