Talking about tutorial: could you create one about RNW? Today I spent half of my working day trying build and run RN desktop app on Windows 10 and didn't found anything helpful on YT, stack overflow or official guides.

The google investing in university students is real and if we are talking competition it really does affect react native. At uni I might have been the only guy building my projects with it, everyone else was java/kotlin with a fast growth of flutter devs.

Damn... Just a few days passed between the recording and release of this episode, and the RN Community DROPPED 2 AUDIO BANGER LIBS AT US: - react-native-audio-api: Software Mansion bringing us the Web Audio API to universal apps!! Very exciting and aligned with what we talked about in this podcast 🎧🔥 - expo-audio: Expo's releasing their beta version of the extracted expo-audio, with a more modern api 💪🏼 A lot to be excited about and to contribute too! Thanks for having me Simon. Keep making music everywhere! 🎷🚀🙌🏻

I would like to hear your opinion about Expo positioning as business. You are saying it's free and only EAS is paid. That makes me wonder, they have a bunch of very cool engineers. Such engineers cost a lot. So how does expo make money to pay them? Maybe this RSC solution for RN which Evan builds will be hardly integrated with Expo services and wouldn't work without them? If yes, then good. Otherwise I'm a bit scared if expo one day will roll some service from free to paid (like libraries behind paid registry for example).

It is really sad that this way o thinking is a bit old by now and the majority of projects and developers did even know about it. I've been studying this topic about one and a half years and completely changed the way I approach problemas and develop stuff. It really worth the time and effort to stop focusing only in the tools and go back for some fundamentals more frequently. Simon is really correct, I've beein studying RN and React lesst than a month and the react world projects (small apps and enterprise level) are really, really a houge mess
